Most people get this completely wrong. See, you ask your friends for free stuff and buy from strangers. Because when you ask a friend for a freebie, they can't say no, so they eat the cost and smile about it. But every time they do, they pull back a little, and one day they stop picking up the phone. Now, a stranger doesn't have that problem. You ask for free stuff and they just tell you no. Nobody's feelings get hurt because there's no relationship to damage. So, Buy from your friends because that money stays in your circle and comes back around. And try to get free stuff from strangers because they don't owe you anything and you don't owe them. Next time your friend launches something, be the first one to pay full price.
