6 year old girl can focus and speak thanks to the patches

A 6-year-old with a speech impediment started speaking clearly and forming complete sentences within a week of using therapeutic patches. Her teacher noticed she could focus and sit still. She went from struggling with counting to doing subtraction and reading at a first-grade level.

She has a speech impediment and always has had, and we've done speech therapy and it's been helpful, but speech therapy in the region that I live is only available in public school. There are no private practitioners, so we haven't been able to get consistent speech therapy. So I noticed an immediate, like, by the end of the first week she was able to pronounce words better, um, and she could string, like, her sentence formation was better. She didn't skip over the articles and the prepositions. She really had like complete sentence structure better. Um, her teacher said that she was able to sit still and that when she was asked a question, you could see her like hear the question and then think for a minute and then respond. Whereas before, you could ask her the same thing 5 or 6 times and she's just bouncing off the walls like a ping pong ball. She wouldn't really respond. You would have to repetitively ask this question. Her reading comprehension has improved. You could read these little, you know, she's at first grade level, so read these little short stories to her and there are comprehension questions at the end of it and she would get them right. Whereas before, it's like she was in space. She wouldn't even know what we were reading. And so it was really wonderful to be like, okay, you're grasping this, you're getting this. Her teacher told me that for like the first time in 2 years, she saw her count on her fingers and properly to actually be like, Oh, 1, 2, 3. She can count, she can count great. She's wonderful at math. But there was some connection with using her fingers. Like she would just use all 10 fingers when she was counting to 5. And if she was trying to count up or down, she couldn't get that. She couldn't, she knows how to count, but couldn't verbally count up or down, frontwards, like backwards, or I'm not even saying it properly. Maybe this is where she gets from. That was really awesome because I've been working with her in the math area for a long time. Like if you have 15 minus 7, let's count down. 7 numbers. Could not do that on her fingers at all, but we do that like a breeze now.
