In a brief interview, a bestselling author and entrepreneur shares how Dan Sullivan's book Who Not How reshaped his approach to business by focusing on "who" can do a task rather than trying to figure out "how" himself. He illustrates the mindset with personal examples—hiring the right school for his children, the right doctors for his family, and the right mechanic for his car—emphasizing that leveraging experts and a large team enables him to generate multiple streams of passive income for families. He also references Tony Robbins' Holy Grail of Investing, explaining that billionaires often invest in private equity rather than traditional assets, and highlights that his own books provide a recurring monthly income. The conversation underscores the power of asking the right question, building a capable team, and targeting high‑yield investment vehicles to create scalable wealth.

I would have to go back and ask my team.
That's incredible. So I guess my question is, how did you— because if I like— how did you market it? How did you, you know, how did you create it through— do you— so do you— it's not just you on your team. You have a team.
Oh, I have a huge team. So here's one of the first things that I actually teach people is I teach people a couple of things is so this book here by Dan Sullivan, Who Not How, has changed the course of my business. Businesses forever. So when we start asking better questions, we get better answers. So most people are asking, how do I do this? How, how, how, how, how? When you understand the who is the better question. So for instance, like being a mom, when my kids needed to get educated, I didn't go get my teacher's degree. I went and found the best school with the best teachers, and I plugged them in. I found who knew how, I plugged them in, I got the results. When my family got sick, I didn't go get my PhD and didn't become a medical doctor. I went and found who knew how. I plugged them in and we got better. My car needs fixed. I don't become a mechanic. I go find who knows how. Investing is the same. Writing bestselling author books, the same, right? Like, these are the things. When I started asking those questions and plugging in, that's how I've done it. So I'm a who that knows how to add commas to bank accounts through multiple streams of passive income for families. That's what I do. So that's a better question is. So I tell everybody, read this book, it'll change your life forever. Um, this book, this is the Holy Grail of Investing by Tony Robbins. He did a brilliant—
my favorite person ever. I go to a lot of his online.
Have you read this book?
No.
Okay, this is really important. He interviewed a bunch of billionaires. Long story short, they don't invest in all the things that everybody thinks they should be investing in. They invest in companies like mine, which is called private equity. That's where they make their billions. So really, really powerful stuff.
Did you make income from your books?
I get paid every month.
Do you think I— that could be something that I could do? Because I thought it was very cool, your books, and then also your work in real estate, because basically I don't think I can work for someone. I think I'm more— I'm much better on my own and kind of in this climate, like, I can't, you know, I need my own income.
