In this YouTube short, Tommy Dobczyk shares a personal networking anecdote from a deal room. He describes how, within an hour of arriving, he and his team encountered a woman who claimed she had been praying to meet them. She facilitated an introduction that led to a last‑minute meeting with a billionaire deal‑maker. Tommy frames the encounter as a vivid example of how unexpected personal connections can instantly open doors to high‑value opportunities, illustrating a ‘networking hack’ where openness, timing, and genuine rapport can translate into tangible business outcomes.

Are you in the deal room? Within an hour of being there, we ran into somebody we seen at another event. She's like, oh my God, I've been praying about meeting you guys. And she literally became the last meeting we had before we left where we talked to that billionaire. So the girl that we met, like within an hour of being there, who's like, oh my God, I was praying about you guys, was able to get us on a table with a guy that has a billion, you know, who's a billionaire and doing deals. So it's like, oh, okay, that's how that works.
