Welcome! Let's walk through how to review and approve audio and video content with PageProof. Start by uploading your video, GIF, or audio file. Just drag and drop the file onto the upload area. MP4, MOV, podcasts, music tracks— we support them all. If your file is larger than 5 GB, upload it from Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, or OneDrive. In the proof setup screen, you can add a workflow of reviewers, automatically route the proof from creative to marketing to legal, for example, so the right people see the proof at the right time. You can add a checklist to help guide your reviewers too. Let's look at how to review a video or audio proof. Reviewers get familiar playback controls: play, pause, skip forward or back, even step through frame by frame. Set the video quality and adjust the speed, and even use full screen to zoom in tight to details. A tip: type "dd" on your keyboard to go into dark mode during your video review. Reviewers can also bookmark their place to come back to their review later. If your video has embedded subtitles, reviewers can toggle them on or off, perfect for checking timing, spelling, and readability. Use the red pen tool to leave comments directly on the frame or audio waveform. Every comment is automatically time-coded. Need feedback for a range? After leaving a comment, drag the pan handles along the timeline to span your comment across a duration. For example, remove these two people here from zero o'clock to 003. This precise feedback makes it super clear for editors exactly where and when changes should happen. Reviewers can @mention to draw attention to a comment, attach files, even make a comment private to the team if the team administrator has enabled that feature. It's everything you need for clear, contextual, and actionable feedback. There are handy tools under the Magic Tools, like Gridlines to check alignment and Color Check to confirm colors are on brand. For editors and motion designers, PageProof offers several integrations. Use our plugins for Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Apple Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve. Send your timeline or selected sequences straight from the editing app for review, and comments come back as timestamped pins right where they belong on your timeline. Make updates, re-upload, and iterate all without guesswork. When a new version is uploaded, you can use Compare Mode to review changes with confidence. View versions side by side to check exactly what's changed between edits. Play simultaneously or independently of each other. You can also compare against a storyboard PDF, a creative brief, or an approved script. That means brand, messaging, and compliance teams can validate alignment visually and contextually. This is perfect for checking that the final cut matches the storyboard frames or approved messaging. From podcasts to commercials, social reels to subtitled videos, precise audio and video proofing keeps feedback clear and approvals fast. Get the right answers on the right frame every time. PageProof. Making feedback welcome.
