Hi guys, hope you're having a great Sunday. So I wanted to jump on here really quick to answer a few questions I've been getting about the Autism Helper professional development membership. So enrollment is currently open. It's open until 1/29, so you have a few more days to enroll, and I wanted to answer some of the questions I've been getting a lot. I am, first of all, so thankful to those that have joined already. We've only been open— had enrollment open for a few days, and we've had an amazing response. I'm so excited for the new members to start consuming all the content, start downloading the resources. So remember, once you join, you get access to everything right away. You will get an immediate email with your login. You could start watching videos this afternoon if you wanted, start downloading resources this afternoon. So drop any questions you have if you're watching this live, and if you're watching this after I've already recorded it, drop your questions in here and I'll make sure they get answered. Because I know that you might have questions about this. This is a little different and you want to make sure that it's a good fit, so I want to get all of your questions answered right right way so you can make the right decision. I think if you're on the fence, a great thing to do would be to listen to this week's podcast episode. If you search the Autism Helper podcast on any podcast platform, this week's episode I'm interviewing 5 of our current members. And I like to read reviews before I buy something, right? So it's kind of your way of reading a review. And these teachers all teach in different settings, and they all actually utilize the membership in different ways, which is really cool. But the theme between all of their discussions is how valuable they're finding the membership. And to me, that is the biggest win because with everything I do, I wanna make sure I'm bringing a lot of value. And all of them have found a ton of value in the membership so far and the way that they've been utilizing it. So definitely check that out if you're on the fence, 'cause I think that will help you make your decision on if this is right for you. So a question that I got this morning is, what types of videos are they? What types of training videos? So every month you will get videos in 4 different categories: staff training, academics, behavior and communication, and classroom structure. The videos are all less than 15 minutes. You can watch them in your prep, you can watch them at your lunch break, and they have a specific kind of action item or to-do list thing for you. And there's usually downloads included with the videos, templates, you know, different worksheets, different handouts you can use with your team. So you can really put those ideas into practice right away. So for example, this month our behavior video is a replacement behavior video, which is, oh my gosh, one of my favorites. We have a video on using visuals for academics with all kinds of cool downloads included in that. Our staff training video is how to teach staff to take academic data, and our classroom structure video is— oh, that one's the visuals for academics. And our fourth video this month is What was our fourth one? Oh, 5 Strategies for Group Instruction. That was our academic one. So how to utilize group instruction in the right way. There's also a bonus video this month on homework with some awesome free downloads to kind of get homework up and running in your classroom for different levels. So the videos are going to kind of be within those 4 structure— 4 topics, but they're going to kind of build on each other every month. So some of my favorite videos throughout the past few months has been how to find staff training time, functions of behavior, how to utilize token economies. There's a schedule video which I know everyone's like, oh, schedules, I got it. It's 20 minutes, it's one of the longer ones, but I literally go through and show the continuum of schedules, how to fade schedules, how to fade between types of schedules, how to pick the right schedule type, talk about why I think schedules are so important. It's an awesome one to use with your staff. The independent work video, again, seems like a basic, but I go real in-depth. I get so so many questions on independent work systems, and I'm giving some of my templates that are editable on setting up the structure to be long-term that I've actually really never shared before because I hadn't created them in an editable way. So that is one that I've gotten from members, the big— a lot of feedback on like, oh, you know, the task box system or independent system is something I've always wanted to set up. I just needed the kick in the butt to do it and the tools to do it, and you gave me kind of all those tools. So those are a few of my favorite videos. And like I said, if you Join today, you can start watching videos tonight, tomorrow on your prep, and get going right away. I really set the membership up for a special education teacher, but as I've been saying, I currently have members who are BCBAs, who are parents, who are clinicians, who are gen ed teachers, resource room teachers, because these strategies are gonna work in so many different settings. You know, replacement behaviors, token economies, the way we talk to our staff, staff training, all of that. It's huge in all these settings. So if you are not specifically a special ed teacher and wondering if this would be a good fit for you, I really think it will be. When you pay that month-to-month membership, it's really no risk. If you try it and you decide that it's not the right thing for you, there's not a minimum amount of months you have to join. You can cancel at any time. So if you're not ready to make that commitment of the annual membership where you do get the month for free, um, the month-to-month is probably a good fit for you because you can do it and make sure it's the right fit for you and make sure that you're finding a lot of value in there. So hope everyone's having a good and relaxing weekend. Please feel free to drop any questions you have here. We also, on our membership page, which is the Autism Helper membership— I put the link in the caption— we have a little chat box. So we are available all the time because we want to get your questions answered right away. So you can drop your questions in there and we will answer them. So happy Sunday and hope you find some time to relax today.
