Hey y'all, it's Grace here with The Autism Helper. I am a kindergarten self-contained autism teacher and am in full back-to-school prep mode now that it is almost July, and I took advantage of Amazon Prime Day sale and got a bunch of really fun stuff that I wanted to share with y'all. First up, some new games and toys for my students. This first one is by the brand Lovely Kids. And it is a Montessori apple picking and fruit tree toy. So I'm going to open it up and show y'all. So you can sort by item, you can also sort by color, and I just thought this would be a really fun activity and the kiddos would love this. This is my first purchase. Okay, next is this matching dinosaur wooden peg puzzle set. So So this is a puzzle, but then also under each egg it has a little dinosaur. So I thought this would be so fun for Dinosaur Week. Next, I got this Build Your Own Pizza set, and it has a bunch of different stickers that you can build, um, different pizzas. So great for following directions or following a visual. And then also all of the stickers are reusable, so that was a huge win for me because it's not just a one-and-done activity. I also got an alphabet set of squigs. My students love these every year. And then it also came with a set of flashcards. So what's really nice is you can put each letter on the flashcard and have them stick, and then they can pull them off. And then on the back of each flashcard, the kiddos can actually practice writing their letters. Next, I got this ABC sensory board. I've been seeing this all over TikTok and thought this looked so fun, so I wanted to grab one for my students this year. These I actually picked up from the Target Dollar Spot, um, and it is the set of Woody and Buzz squigs and then also a Slinky set. Now moving on to decor, all from Amazon. I got a new desk mat. I get a new one of these I think every year because mine always gets so dirty by the end of the year, but it's kind of fun because it makes your desk look a little bit different. Every year, and I've never seen this one before but thought it was so cute and perfect for school. Okay, this I'm actually just going to insert a picture of because I think it's going to be really hard to show you guys what it looks like, but it is this hanging pencil tassel decor. And then another decoration is this new banner. I think I'm going to hang it up in the back of my classroom on that bulletin board, and it has a bunch of different school supplies, and I just thought it was so cute. So here is a little look at that. I also have had these in my cart for forever. I don't necessarily know what I'm going to use them for, but they're just too cute to pass up. So it is this set of jumbo paper clips in all these different pencil designs. Got this cute bin from Target. Another thing that I always get new every year because they just get so dirty throughout the year are new bins to put in all my cubbies. And I found these this year at Target. It's like this baby pink lace design. I thought that these were adorable, so I grabbed 7 of these to fill my bins back up. I also found these from the Target Dollar Spot that I thought were so cute. I think I'm just gonna hang them up on my whiteboard, and they're little plush magnetics. So I got this little apple one, a backpack, and then this little pencil guy. I also got my first Palm Pal. I actually have another one coming in the mail, it just hasn't arrived yet. Um, so I have this glue one and then I ordered a pencil. I always like to have some kind of blanket in my room for the kiddos in case they would fall asleep, and I saw this one and it was $10 at Target and I just loved it. It's cheetah print, has pink bows, right up my alley. So I picked that up. For this year. And then from Michaels, I needed one more photo box for my independent centers. So I already had 8 of these and I just needed one more, so I grabbed this. And what's nice is it comes with the box as well as 6 inserts that we like to keep their different task cards in. And then last up, it's just like being in school and needing a new backpack every year. I need a new teacher bag every year, and I found this one. This is from, um, Peace Love Autism. I love all their stuff, and it's just this cute leopard print tote bag with the Peace Love Autism in rainbow colors. And then also online, I grabbed this little keychain to decorate the bag, and what I love about it is it actually has a charm that says "yet." I'm a huge believer in the power of yet, so it's just a good everyday reminder. And also super cute. So anyways, that is everything I bought for my classroom so far this summer. Be sure to head on over to our TikTok to check out my classroom setup videos. I will be sharing that whole process with y'all along the way, as well as a bunch of other behind-the-scenes things as we prepare for back-to-school season here at Autism Helper. But thank you all so much for watching, and I'll see you in my next one. Bye, guys!
