If you struggle in the classroom providing language supports for your students so they're successful in subjects like math, language, science, social studies, social skills, you are not alone. I am Jen and I am a K-12 self-contained teacher, and I am going to show you some of the very brand new things that The Autism Helper has put out to help our students who are pre-verbal students. Now, these are students who may use AAC, they might use sign, maybe they've got some language and they're developing more language, or maybe they are completely non-speaking at the moment. No matter what stage your students are in, The Autism Helper has brought some amazing things to their Curriculum Access that I want to show you today. You guys know I'm a sucker for the curriculum. This is Math Level Daily 1. Let me show you some things about it, and then I'm going to show you the supports that they have put in place for their Curriculum Access users. Your mind is going to be blown. I love the Autism Helpers curriculum. It comes with the curriculum map. Not only that, it comes with data sheets. Everybody needs data sheets. But here's where it really shines. There's an anchor chart that helps guide the lesson, gives concrete examples of what you're teaching. Also pre-test and post-test for every single unit. Then that data, you'll see it's the exact same. That was the pretest, this is the posttest. So give one before, teach the unit, give one after, and then look, you've got a rubric that tells you exactly what to do. You can analyze errors. It tells you exactly what to do if your student's struggling or if your student's advancing. This is gold for a teacher. Additionally, the Autism Helper helps us out. This is actually the writer version of the curriculum, um, and you can see it's not highly demanding. When it comes to the written skill. However, there is a non-writer or a pre-writer version as well. If you follow my videos, you know I use core language boards in my classroom all of the time, specifically for students who may not have a personal or a school-loaned AAC device, or students who use sign language who need some prompting. Um, these are— this is the most simple one from the Autism Helper, and there are more complex versions. There's a medium and a more advanced as well. And so these are the core language boards that are now included with the curriculum, but this is not where it ends. We've had these for a while, but they recreated them just for the curriculum. So most of my learners are going to be right about here or here when using this Level Daily 1 Math curriculum that I just showed you. So now look at these supports. So to go along with these core boards, you'll see it's kind of shifted down. There's this blank space. Well, they have created fringe language boards or vocabulary boards, whichever one you call them, and these go on the top of the core language board so students have instant access to the vocabulary that they need to be able to communicate during a lesson. I know, it's amazing. So let me show you, this is math level 1 vocabulary strip. I went ahead and pulled out the anchor chart from unit 4. You can see we're working on complex patterns and big and little. So down here, I'm gonna look, all right, so I've got counting and numbers, size and shape, Here's big, here's little, so I've got what I need to be able to support that concept. And coins and bills— this is specific to just Math Level 1. They have one of these for every single level. And patterns down here. Here are patterns. I am so excited about these. I'm going to take the time to cut this out and put it together and show you what it looks like. But to do this, what you have to do is you have to cut around the outside and leave the gray space. That's going to allow you space to punch your holes or whatever you want to do to be able to put it on top of the core board. So you don't want to cut the core board out, you want to leave it just like this, and then you want to cut around the outside of the Fringe Language Vocabulary Strips. Here we go, I got it all put together. So all I did is grab a binder that I had laying around, turned it and I hole punched all of the items. I will— now that I have it cut out and I know how it's going to work, I'm probably going to laminate these like heavy duty because these are something that I'm going to use every single day in the classroom. But you can see that now I've got these little tabs and I can just flip them to give the kiddo support as they need it, which is so amazing. This is such a game changer, guys. I cannot tell you how excited I am to be able to use this in the classroom and what amazing support this is going to give my pre-verbal students and students that just need a little extra language support. I mean, anyone in the classroom could benefit from these. I am so thankful for the supports that The Autism Helper has put out in Curriculum Access for my students to make curriculum more accessible to them. I just love that when something new like this comes out, it's already included in Curriculum Access and I don't have to pay extra for it. It's just there. The same for like brand new levels of curriculum, brand new subjects. Last year when Social Skills came out, it was just in my account, which is amazing. I don't have an extra cost. I don't have to go and download from TPT or the Autism Helper store. It is just right there. And the cost, honestly, for what I'm getting, it's worth it. This one was just too good not to share. I just had to share it with you. I could see myself using it in the classroom, and I could see how my students could benefit from it, and I just had to see how it would work and put it all together and share it with you guys. So if you could see yourself using it, or you want more information about Curriculum Access, definitely let us know down in the comments, and we will reach out to you. It is amazing, and it is beneficial. And by the way, homeschool parents, you could easily do this too. So it's not just for the classroom at a school building, but it could be done at home too. So if you're a homeschool mama or daddy, definitely check this out.
