Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com presents Household Bingo, a classroom game teaching functional vocabulary to autistic and non-verbal students. It has three levels: picture cards for matching, clue cards that require inference, and 20 laminated bingo boards. The focus is on everyday words students need to understand but might not ask for.

Hi, this is Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com, and this is a product preview of my Household Bingo. So I love anything functional, and I love working on vocabulary that's going to be meaningful for my students, and this game really hits the spot with this. Um, this game has different vocabulary of items from the house, so things such as couch, stairs, chair, sink, lamp, washer, laundry basket, so different common household items. That our kids might not get the chance to learn these words because it might not be something that they're requesting. They might not be requesting "window" or "lamp," but these are still important vocabulary words to know and understand. So included in this resource are the Level 1 cards. These are just basic picture identification, great for kids who are nonverbal who are just working on vocabulary or matching. And next are the Level 2 cards. These each have like a little cue, clue, or hint that might— students can work on problem solving, making inferences, looking at the function or attributes of items. Based on the hint. So this is great to work on understanding what these household items are used for and where they're located. So different kinds of clues there. Um, here are the bingo boards. There's 20 different versions. Um, I like to laminate these, or I put them in page protectors, which is a great option if you don't have enough lamination. Um, so this is just a great one to work on a really functional set of vocabulary. Again, this was a product preview of my Household Bingo Game by theautismhelper.com.
