Hi, this is Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com, and this is a product preview of my Interactive Math Workbook Level 2. So there's 3 different levels of my Interactive Math Workbook series, and I was really striving to provide a hands-on and engaging way of engaging in different math tasks. From money to time to simple number, number operations, I wanted to give math a really structured and interactive way of working on these skills. So you can really set up this product whichever way you want. I think this would work great all set up in a binder. You could use it as a station run by a paraprofessional. You could use these for new tasks that you're teaching or previously mastered. So it's really up to you on yours and what works for your student. So I'm gonna go through the Level 2. The Level 2 works on a little bit more advanced skills than Level 1. Still some sorting, still some matching, but kind of taking it to the next level in a really nice way. So we're gonna start with sorting coins. So they do have to know the value, so they'll be matching to the value. Put all the 1 cents here, 5 cents, 10 cents, 25. Here's all the different coins, fronts and backs. So we're incorporating multiple exemplar training into our teaching in an easy way. Next, we're working on some very basic coin combinations. So ones with 3 or less coins, a lot of similar coins in the coin pattern. So looking at that really basic starting the coin combination concept. So matching the coin combinations to the amount. Next we have tallies. I think tallies are a great skill to teach. They teach counting by 5s, they keep— they teach kind of those basic sorting skills in your mind, things like that. So counting the tallies and adding the numbers. Next is writing the number words. This is something I've realized a lot of students I work with are hugely missing, that they might know that this is 36 but they don't know how to write 36. So this focuses on numbers 1 through 100 and writing the number words. Next, greater than or less than. So starting that concept of using the symbol to add greater than or less than for these different numbers, and here are the pieces. And then we have a bunch of skip counting pages. So I laminated these and used dry erase markers, which has worked awesome. So I really would recommend doing that. So first we have skip counting by 2, so they need to fill in the missing numbers. Then we have skip counting by 5s, skip counting by 10s. So different ways of skip counting and adding those numbers in, which these are great pre-skills for multiplication and things like that. So these are really essential to work on. Next we have Matching the Clocks to the Hour, and these are by 15-minute increments. So matching the clocks to the hour, and then we have drawing the hands on the clock. So you— the students are given the time and they draw the correct time on there. Next we have Sorting the Fractions. So again, working on these really, really basic math skills at the most foundational level. So we have the wholes, the halves, and the fourths. So here are the pieces and and they're gonna match them on here. Next, you have Sorting Heavy and Light, so kind of getting into those different measurement concepts of things that are heavy and things that are light. So here are the different pieces that they'll sort. And then we have a base basic math sort, so the different addition equations that add up to the number. So what adds up to 5, to 8, 3, 7, etc. Those— these go on here. So again, these are really activities that the students do need to sit and think about. They can't just fly through, so they're gonna have to really attend to this when doing the work, which is great. And then this is finishing and filling in the patterns. So there's different AB patterns and ABB patterns that they'll have to fill in the missing pieces. Um, so again, this was the Interactive Math Workbook Level 2, focusing on those mid-level skills and really building our complexity of our math tasks from theautismhelper.com.
