Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com walks through Leveled Homework Level 3, a year of 36 weekly packets for mixed-ability classrooms. Each week has the same structure: Monday drills, Wednesday reading comprehension, Thursday word problems, Friday vocabulary. Same format every week means students focus on content, not figuring out what to do.

Hi, this is Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com, and this is a product preview of Leveled Homework Level 3. So if you've checked out my Leveled Daily Work, this product aligns perfectly with this. These leveled sets are specific to certain skills and can allow you to provide individualized work to your classrooms. So this set focuses on homework and has 36 homework packets for each week of the school year, so it lasts you the entire year. With leveled homework tasks. Homework is something that I personally really, really struggle with because I have so many different levels of students in my classroom that it's really hard for me to provide appropriately leveled homework to all my different students without me literally spending all my time at work and at school. So this product is gonna be a huge time saver for you and I, and I'm ridiculously excited about it. I can print this once, photocopy, and my homework is done for the entire school year And because of the 3 different levels, I can ensure that all of my kids are doing work that isn't too hard, isn't too easy, it's at their level. So I'm gonna give you a brief rundown of what's in this packet. So there's an instructional sheet as well as a parent letter to send home at the start of the year explaining how important homework is and how to do this homework with their child. So the structure stays the same in this, which I talk about in my other sets, I think is really important. I think it's more important to change the content and keep the structure the same so students don't have to relearn what's expected expected of them, they already know what to do. By week 3 or 4 of this, it's gonna run really smoothly and allow them to really focus on the content and the work as opposed to figuring out what is being asked of them. So this homework packet is designed to be completed in a notebook or loose leaf paper. The great part about that is that we can send home one piece of paper. You can photocopy this double-sided, and that's all they need for the week, and they can respond in a notebook. So I'm gonna have a homework notebook that we check, and we're gonna teach our students to write in the date and the day, so August 29th, Monday, then respond to these questions. So we're gonna do the same thing with all the other sections of this homework packet. So I'm gonna go through briefly each day of the week. So Monday, there's 4 different math, 4 different reading. The types of skills included in this is time to the 5 minutes, coin combinations, number patterns, writing numbers, writing the number words, nouns, verbs, adjectives, prepositions, and adverbs, synonyms, antonyms, idioms, contractions, all different types of grammar concepts. Next are a variety of wh- questions, but these are going to be more complex and more abstract to really challenge these higher-level learners. And the last one is a grammar sentence, so they're gonna have to edit the sentence, fix the spelling and grammar errors. On Wednesdays, there's a paragraph with 6 comprehension questions that are both on concrete comprehension skills as well as making inferences and extending the story. Thursday, there's 2 math word problems and 6 math problems. This set gets increasing— increases in difficulty as the year goes on. So it starts out with double-digit addition without regrouping, and towards the end of the year, we add in regrouping, subtraction with and without borrowing, things like that. So it does get harder as the set goes on. And then Friday are 15 vocabulary words that they have to write a sentence with each word. So that's really gonna show our, you know, build our sentence skills, build our vocabulary, things like that. So I'm gonna briefly scroll through so you can see all the different options. As you can see, everything's black and white, which is great. You're not gonna waste a whole color ink cartridge printing this, and it will photocopy really nicely. So you'll— there's one page for each week, and we'll be responding to on a piece of paper or in a notebook. So here's all the different sets. That's it. So this will really last you the whole year, which again, I've said it a million times, but I'm so excited about it, so I hope you're excited about it too. Again, this is a product preview of Leveled Homework Level 3 by theautismhelper.com.
