Hi, this is Sasha from theautismhelper.com, and I'm here to show you my students' new binder setup with all of their work kind of in one spot. This has really helped our space efficiency this year in our organization. I bought these tabs, and I made sure to buy the ones that stick out. Sometimes if you get the ones that are too low, then the papers— you can't see everything. So they can find everything really easy. It's important to set up these types of organization schedules for our students so they can learn to maintain this system over time, because a lot of our kids aren't inherently organized. So in the start, we have all of our schedules. So our weekly schedule— she has a written schedule that includes the times. Next, we have our calendar. So I put the calendars in for the whole year, which really helps them look ahead and see what holidays are coming, um, also helps them keep track of birthdays. And then I don't have to recopy it every month as well. Next is our daily work. So this is the daily level daily work that they do independently on their own. So all of these pages. Next is our language arts curriculum. So this is my level daily curriculum. We do this as a group in our reading. I put 3 units in at a time and then we'll kind of add more as we need. So everything's right here. Then in math, we have our math curriculum, so our leveled math curriculum all right here. And in the end, vocabulary. So they've been doing the vocabulary homework on their own this year as independent work. So they write the words and then they follow the directions for each day of the week, and I switch out the vocabulary words every day. Um, so again, this was the organization system I set up for my student binders. It's been going really, really well. Having all the tabs here is really Great, and having all the curriculum in one spot is really space efficient. If you have any questions, please check out theautismhelper.com.
