Hi, this is Sasha from theautismhelper.com, and this is a product preview of my 150 Kitchen Vocabulary Word Unit for Early Childhood or Special Education. So this is based off of my other vocabulary unit, which I love, but I was ready for something to take it to the next level with some of my kids I've already used that system with. I really wanted to work on functional vocabulary. When we do cooking, cooking activities, I realized how many words my students just don't know. So going through these kitchen vocabulary words will ensure that your students have these functional vocabulary terms mastered. So here's a list of all of the different words included. This is also included in the product preview when you download it. There's also a master data sheet to look— work at date started and date mastered, so you can keep track of when you're doing all of these words and when your students have mastered the different vocabulary concepts. So there's 150, which is about 5 for a week for the whole year, which is great. There's also weekly vocabulary homework. We actually do this in the classroom as independent tasks. So they write the date, the week of, they write their 5 words, and then there's 5 different activities. So Monday, writing the word 5 times each. Tuesday, writing the definitions. Wednesday, writing a sentence. Thursday, drawing pictures. And Friday, writing the words. So here's the different pages for that. This is great in my room for independent work. They do this every morning with their vocabulary words for the week. And then I'll give some samplings of the words. Um, each— for each word there's a word flashcard and the definition. Um, 150 different words. Again, if you want to see the whole list, that's included in the product preview. So it's all the different words, a wide range of different kitchen words, anything and everything that you can think of. Um, so again, this was a product preview of my 150 Vocabulary Words for Early Childhood Special Education by theautismhelper.com.
