Hi, this is Sasha from theautismhelper.com, and this is a product preview of my Christmas Party Setup Kit. So when you download this file, it is a zip file, so there's two different files included. There's a 4-station party and a 5-station party. So this depends how many groups you put your students into. If you have a smaller class or not as many staff, you might want to just use 4 stations, um, versus if you have a bigger class and you have more staff to use, you might want to use 5. So I'm going to go through the 5-station party It's the same as the 4-Station Party, just with 1 additional station. So this whole setup kit is very easy. That's the goal. It's no mess, no fuss, easy prep. No, no laminating required. You could print this the day before the party, stop at the grocery store on your way home, grab the few things from the shopping list, make sure you have the other materials, and be ready to roll. So class parties can be stressful, and I really tried to streamline that process with these kits. So there's instructions on what to, how to set this all up, a shopping list, and then just common classroom materials to make sure you have on hand or you have enough of. So the 5 station set, the first station is a tree craft, second station is Christmas cookies, station 3 has 2 different options, Pictionary or Holiday Dabbers, 4 is Christmas find it, and 5 is Christmas ornaments. So there's typically a craft or 2, a no microwave needed cooking activity, Station 3 always has 2 different options. You might need both, you might just need one. It's just depending on the level of your kids. Maybe not all of your kids can play Pictionary, so that's why I'm giving an alternate so we can still have those fun kind of harder activities included but with another alternative as well. So here's the schedule. So you will write the times of each group. If your party's from, you know, 1 to 2:30, you'll write 1 to 1:15, 1:15 to 2:00. To 1:30, 1:30, 1:45. Write all the times in right here. The adult and the location. Here are the 5 groups for your students. Write which students are in each group. Johnny, Sarah, and Max are in Group A. Tyler and Devin are in Group B, etc. Make a photocopy of this. Hand this to your staff. Post this in the room. Here are the student schedules. So these are what the students will use to follow around to the 5 activities. So Group A schedules, Group B, Group C, Group D, and Group E. These will correspond with the visuals on the labels for each center. Again, everything's done, ready to roll. As students go through each activity, they can cross it off. They know how many stations are left. This is going to mimic their normal day. I really urge and advocate using the same strategies we use on a daily basis, like schedules and visuals and routines, during things like parties, and that will really avoid the meltdown. So the first craft here, each kind of— this is what you could post at the station. I've seen a lot of teachers post this, tape it to the table or post it standing upright so everyone can see the visual. But this kind of visual set does a lot of things. First off, it has the matching visual that students will know when it's their turn to go to this station. So it's the same tree craft picture. They know they'll come here. It gives visual directions of what to do. For many of the crafts, it gives a photo sample of what it looks like at the end, and it also gives the materials needed. This will help with staff setting everything up or you setting everything up. You can quickly make sure all the materials for each station are at the right table. And then under here are anything you need for that center. So here's the template for the tree. Next is Christmas cookies, holiday Pictionary, the Pictionary cards, holiday dabbers, The Dabber page and the calling cards. Christmas Find It. This is a sensory bin. I love this activity. It's one of my favorite ones. And an ornament craft. So 5 different activities included. So schedules, activity template, visual directions, everything's included. No laminating required. You'll be ready to roll.
