This is Ashleigh from TheAutismHelper.com, and this is a product preview of file folder activities for St. Patrick's Day. So I've been super into making seasonal file folder activities because I realized a few months ago that I was really not including some of my kids who are a little bit lower functioning in the holidays as well as I could, and this was a great easy way to have— make activities for them that are still seasonal and fun because they want to do that kind of stuff too. So if you've never used file folder activities before, I have a very detailed instruction of how to set these up that I include in all my sets. I like to really label all parts of it on the front cover, the tab cover, and the baggie. So each game will come with each of these labels. So basically a file folder activity has the, the activity inside the file folder. You'll laminate it and it lasts forever, really durable, easy to store. The baggie with all the pieces goes in there, so it's great. It's really easy to organize. I love these. So there's 13 different activities. So you'll see here each one has the main title, tab title, and the baggie title. So each one has a title for each of the 13 games. So I'll go through the games really briefly. This is Sorting Shamrocks by Size. So there's big and little ones, and then the big shamrocks, the little shamrocks. So these two pages will go on the insides of the file folder and the kids will sort. And there is a visual cue here because I like to have a little bit of a visual help as well. Next, there's a few different kind of matching ones. This one's a little tricky, and these graphics are a little tricky too because some of them are a little bit similar, but I really like the discrimination. Like, you really do have to focus that these two patterns look differently. It's not gonna be something you fly through. So this one is kind of a direct match. So these are the two pages you put in the file folder, and they'll match exactly this one to exactly this one. So it's a direct match. Um, this one's a little easier. It's just boxes. So you cut out the boxes. Here are the pieces, and they'll match these right on this page, Matching Shamrocks. And then this is, um, the same concept with just other St. Patrick's Day vocabulary, so leprechauns and rainbow, stuff like that. So the same thing here. Next is ordering from big to small, so they'll have 4 opportunities to do this. Here are the pieces, and again, you'll be laminating and putting Velcro on the back of all these pieces. There's directions too for each one. So order from big to small 4 times. So I like having a lot of opportunities to practice this skill too. There's 3 level patterns. This one's easy, so an ABAB pattern. So here's finishing the pattern. You'll have 2 chances to do that with 2 different patterns, so this kind of an easy one. Next, the middle level pattern. So this is an ABC ABC pattern. So here's this one. So a little bit easier, but still getting, you know, a little more advanced. And then next is the hard one. So this is ABCD ABCD, and this one is really tricky actually. Like, I had a hard time even making it because I was getting confused at first, but it's good for our kids. It's good to challenge them. So to really distinguish which order these pictures go in because they are similar. I have some matching numbers ones next. So this is matching numbers 1 through 20, the number to the number word. And then here's matching 11— oh, I'll flip these— but matching 11 through 20, the number to the number word. And then there are counting shamrocks here and here. So they'll count how many shamrocks there are and then match the number right on there. So this is great for your kids that can't write but can do math skills. So it's great for some of our lower kids that maybe don't have the verbal language or the writing skills to show that they can count. Next is ordering the alphabet. I really realized with some of my kids we really needed to work on this, so that's why I make a lot of these activities. So here are the letters and a blank board, so they have to put the alphabet in order. And if they're struggling with this, you could fill it in halfway or just take out half of the pieces and have them fill it in. I like to do that too. And then this is matching lowercase to uppercase letters. So there you go! I got some really awesome graphics, so I really was excited to make this one because some of them are so really So cute! Um, so yeah, if you have any questions, shoot me an email, and this was a product preview of file folder activities for St. Patrick's Day by TheAutismHelper.com.
