In this product preview, Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com introduces a set of twelve football‑themed file‑folder activities designed for classroom use. The activities cover a range of foundational skills, including sorting by size, matching identical images, ordering objects from big to small, pattern creation (ABAB, ABC, and four‑piece patterns), number‑to‑word matching for 1‑10 and 11‑20, counting, alphabet sequencing, and lowercase‑to‑uppercase letter matching. Sasha explains the simple setup process—labeling folders, tabs, and baggies, laminating the folders, and organizing the pieces—emphasizing how the consistent format across different themes supports skill generalization. The preview highlights the relevance of the football theme for fall lessons, the progressive difficulty levels for higher‑level students, and the educational benefits such as reinforcing math‑language connections, pattern recognition, and alphabet knowledge while keeping students engaged with a fun, seasonal motif.

Hi, this is Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com, and this is a product preview of File Folder Activities to Match, Sort, Count, and More Football Themed. So if you've checked out any of my other file folder activities, it's the same setup, just with the football theme. I really like actually having the same types of activities just in different formats, because you can really see that those skills are generalizing and that the students are actually able to do it, not just in this one format, but in a, in a similar one with different fonts and different images and stuff. So I'm really excited to use these for the fall for football season. I am a huge football fan and I think it's a really fun theme to do in classrooms, so I think this will be really fun this fall. Um, so I'll briefly scroll through the, um, different activities. There's 12 different file folder activities included. There's directions for setup. I like to label the front of the file folder, the tab, and the baggie. So with each set you'll see 3 different ones all with the same image. So it's really easy to set up. You will put this all into the file folder, laminate the file folder, and you're pretty ready to go. Um, so first off is sorting football pieces by size, so big footballs and little footballs with a visual cue. Matching footballs, so matching the exact image to the exact image, and then match another matching one with just pieces in a square, so a little bit easier. Next up is ordering from big to small. This has been a skill that I've really realized through these activities that a lot of my students struggle with, so These are really great thing to work on, and there's 4 different opportunities to practice the skill with each task. Easy pattern, so ABAB, practicing that 2 times. Next is the middle level pattern, ABC, so 3 different pieces in order. And last is the hard one with 4 different pieces. So here will be the base, and there's 4 pieces to finish the pattern. And this one really is quite challenging, so it's good for some of your higher-level students. Next is matching numbers 1 through 10, matching the number to the number word. So this is great for building those foundational math skills and helping translate the num— numeral to the word, which is great for word problems and things like that. Next is 11 through 20, the same thing. And then counting. So here are the number pieces and you'll match it to the places on the football. Again, these are really great for generalization if you're using multiple types of file folders because students don't just memorize. You can mix them up and use different ones. Next is ordering the alphabet. So you have a blank board and the students will put the letters in order. And last is lowercase to uppercase letters. So here are the lowercase pieces matching to the uppercase pieces. And I super love the way these turned out with the goalposts around the letters. I think that turned out really cute, so I was excited about those. Um, yep, so 12 different file folder activities with instructions and labels.
