I am really excited to show you the big update to the Ultimate Guided Reading Resource for Special Education. It's basically completely redone, and I want to show you how it's going to walk you start to finish through all of your guided reading setup. So here's the table of contents. It's basically broken into 4 parts: how to set up guided reading groups, how to plan for guided reading groups, how to run them, and then how to collect data. So in the setup, it's going to go through the process and what you need to do. There are a lot of different templates for organizing your assessments, for tracking your assessments, for organizing your groups. There's templates for how to create schedules as well as a sample schedule and then tips for including your non-readers. There are mini schedules which are going to be essential for rotating between your different centers and there's some variety on how you can set those up as well. Then there are 5 different adult-directed centers and independent centers. So the adult-directed centers can be run by a paraprofessional. There are instructions on how to set them up as well as worksheets or other needed materials. These are super simple, ready to go, but we'll get an adult in the right spot to run this center on their own. Then there are 5 independent reading centers. Again, same thing, there's what should be done there, written in a way students can understand with some visual prompts, and then any templates or worksheets you would need to go along with the center. Then how to plan your guided reading groups. There is a binder setup that you can organize your assessments, your lesson plans, your data sheets all in one spot. There are a lot of different variations of lesson plans. I was really excited about these. There's monthly templates, weekly templates, daily, so whatever works best for you and your planning. Curriculum map, thematic planning, and then on to how to run your guided reading groups. So very detailed step-by-step guide. This mini schedule is gonna be essential as well for laying expectations, monthly calendar, behavior expectations, token boards, checklists, behavior visuals, and social stories. Then there are some visual task analysis for what to do before you read, while you read, and after you read. And then this is my favorite part, there are strategies and concepts organized by level. So one little task card set for each level with a visual cue. So you will be able to let your students know exactly what they're working on in a visual way and make sure that you are picking sub-concepts that are related to the level they're on. There's WH question cards and then a whole big set of comprehension cards that can go with any level. Then we're on to the worksheets. There are a range of types of comprehension-based worksheets to work on a variety of skills from predictions to comprehension to sequencing, etc. And then there are a range of book reports. They're going to go from simple A/B level, C/D, E/F, G/H, and I/J. So working on the skills that you are working on with those levels, and then as well as some general ones. Other sheets: inferences, story elements, main idea, characters, etc. Then we're on to the data sheets. So there are a few different data worksheets for different skills, um, depending on how you would like to collect data for different students in one time, for a target skill, fluency, pre- and post-test progress report, and a self-graphing reading progress level so students can self-monitor. So tons included. It's going to guide your process from the start to the finish. This is the ultimate guided reading resource for special education.
