An educational therapy book uses laminated bug pieces in five colors that stick via Velcro to objects on each page. Students match bugs to items and say full sentences like "What's bugging you? Oh no, a red bug on the present!" to practice color names and precise language.

This is a product preview of What's Bugging You? Color Matching Edition. So if you've seen my other book, What's Bugging You? this is in the same format, but instead of working on initial consonant sounds, this book is working on matching colors. So it's the same setup, and I give instructions here on how to set up the book so you have the bug options on the right available the whole time, which is a nice way to store the pictures. So here's the COVID and the bug pieces, so you'll laminate and cut these out. And then here are the pages. So each page follows the same repetition of "What's bugging you?" "Oh no, a red bug on the present!" So then you will put some Velcro on the present and the student will match one of the red bug pictures onto the present. And then there's one for blue, green, yellow, orange. So in the same format each time. And I like the different boxes for the words because it really focuses on saying some of those words that often get left out. "A green bug on the grapes." So that sometimes students seem to just kind of rush through a sentence and not get to each of those little words that are so important. And then this page is the one that will be laminated and attached to the right side like you'll see in this picture where I have it, and then you can store each of the bugs in these 9 boxes right here. You could put hard Velcro and then soft on the back of the bug. Yep, so this is a product preview of What's Bugging You? Color Matching Edition.
