Hi, I'm Sasha from theautismhelper.com. This is a product preview of I Am Working For Positive Reinforcement System with Visual Choices. This mini token economy is one of the most used visuals in my classroom. It's a great way to show children with autism or other disabilities exactly what they're working for and how long it'll take them to get there. So basically, it's a mini token economy where the student can pick the visual that they would like to work for, Velcro it to the location, and then earn stars based on either correct academic responses or good behavior, however you want to use it. Once they earn all of the stars, they earn the reinforcer. Um, so included in this packet are some directions for setup and some photos of how I use this in my room. Um, and it kind of details how to use it, how to start, and then included in here are 5-star and 3-star boards. So depending on whether you want a lot of work to be done or a little bit less to be done for the reinforcer, You can decide how you want to use this. And here are the stars. So you'll laminate this page, put hard Velcro in all of these boxes, put soft Velcro on the back of the stars, and then put the stars on as the student is completing the work. Also included are the choice boards. So here is an 8 and a 4 choice board. These can be laminated, cut out this whole box, and put hard Velcro in the boxes, and then put soft Velcro on the back of the reinforcers. So I used the main ones that we use in my classroom, but every child's different, every classroom's different. I'd be more than happy to make additional ones if a specific item is not on here. I know all of our kids have little quirky things they work for, so please don't hesitate to email me and give me any specific pictures you need, 'cause I'd be happy to do that. Um, again, this was a product preview of I Am Working For, a positive reinforcement system with visual choices. For more tips, resources, and materials, please come to theautismhelper.com.
