This is Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com, and this is a product preview of my Kids Like to Play, an adapted book for children with autism. So this is one of my favorite adapted books. I think I say that about all of them, but I just love these and we get so much use out of them. This is great because it kind of takes matching to the next level and is a little bit more complicated than just basic picture-to-picture matching. So it's great for those learners that have the matching skill down, but you want to take it a little farther. So it follows the same kind of structure for each page. There's 5 different pages with 3 sentences on each page, and I like separating each word so that kids can practice saying, you know, "Boys play with a boat." So you can kind of practice saying each word, and since it follows that same routine, I think this is great for your students that are lower verbal to kind of get used to this routine and be able to say more things independently and repeat back the words that you're saying. So they'll have all these phrases that they'll need to match to to these photos down here that are all of actual photos of different kids playing with different items. So, you know, "Girl plays with the pumpkin" here would match to this one up here. So you're gonna match the real photo to the Boardmaker photo. I really like doing that kind of matching because it is really showing that they are generalizing, that this picture of a pumpkin matches the actual pumpkin. And then like my, um, "What's Bugging You?" book, I have an extra page where you can store all of these pieces. So you wanna go ahead and laminate these and then put soft Velcro on the back and hard Velcro on here, and then you can store all of these on this extra page. And I also have a video tutorial on how to set this up and to see it in real life.
