Hi, this is Sasha from theautismhelper.com, and this is a video preview of my math level daily curriculum file folders for level 1. So I know especially with the level 1 curriculum, it's really nice to have a hands-on component because a lot of these learners might benefit more from interactive activities and more experience and extra practice with the different concepts included in these curriculum resources. So I wanted to make sure I made the level 1 resources First. So this lines up perfectly with the curriculum. There are 4 to 5 different file folders for each level, so you can, you know, the table of contents helps just print specific ones and then kind of reviews what themes there are for each. So for the file folders, each, you know, the structure is always the same: labels for the main page, the tab, and the baggie to stay really organized. And there's just a variety of different activities that go along with the theme. The theme of Level 1 is 1 through 5 counting and shapes. So there's some different matching activities there, shapes to words, sorting the shapes. So some different extension activities. I think these would be great for homework or a paraprofessional-run center, or honestly, when we have groups of 2 or 3 kids, we might be wanting to work one-on-one with one student. The other, you know, 1 or 2 students can practice these while you're working one-on-one with that another student. So this goes into patterns in Level 4, in Unit 4. Big and little, matching big or little. So there's at least 1 or 2 ways of practicing every single skill. Most, most skill has 2 different varieties of the type of activity. Then we get into the money components. Here's matching pennies. This is actually one of my favorite ones. This is just putting a check on all the pennies, so starting to discriminate but just looking at 1 coin at a time. Matching numbers to number words. The next level looks at pennies and nickels. More and less. More. Adding. Here's the coins again. This pennies, nickels, and dimes. And again with these checking ones, there's gonna be a section for each coin. Find the penny, find the nickels, find the dimes. So building in that discrimination. And for the— once you get through the units, I would definitely keep out all of the previous ones to kind of have those independent activities and previously mastered skills get that extra practice on there. So there are, oh gosh, I don't know how many file folders there are in total now, but there's 3 to 5 for each different unit. So there's 8 levels, 8 units included, and the 3 to 5 file folders for each one. So again, this was a product review of Math Level Daily File Folders for Level 1 by theautismhelper.com.
