Hi, this is Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com, and this is a product preview of my Money Mega Pack for Early Childhood or Special Education. So this packet is filled with all different resources to work on identifying the value of different coins and coin combinations. So to start off, I have a poster for each one of the coins with the name and the value. So these are good to post in your classroom so the kids can refer back to them. These are really helpful for my students. They tend to look at these a lot throughout the day. The first interactive material, here's a description of how to set it up and the coin pieces. So these would be laminated and soft Velcro on the back, and then there are 6 different cards. I actually laminate these, cut the— this part out, and then hole punch each one in the corner and keep together with a binder clip, and then the students will add up the money values on here. So I really like things that are hands-on and can get to be a little more interactive. Here's a file folder activity. So you can place this page on the file folder, put hard Velcro on here, and then match these pieces. So you'll have to identify identify the coin, the name, and the value all together. And next up is all the sets of worksheets. So the first set of worksheets are identifying the front to the back of the coin. This is great for my students who are a little bit lower functioning to just work on those initial skills because this is a little bit easier. So there's 5 different versions of that. Then there are 5 different versions of matching the coin to the name, and then 5 different versions of matching the coin to the value. So there's different varieties of types of worksheets included in here. Next are the more complicated ones. So this is adding up coins. So how much money is this added together? And you could actually laminate these and use a dry erase marker or use these as worksheets, whatever works best for your— in your classroom. So there's 10 different ones of these with all of the 4 different coins. And then there are some worksheets to work on which is more. So kind of taking this one step farther. So which group of coins is of— has a higher value? So there are 5 of those worksheets. Then last is this game which my kids have a lot of fun with, but this is actually very challenging. This is I Have, Who Has. If you've seen this game in my other packets, or a lot of other people use these games too, you'll make these into flashcards, pass these out, and when the student has this one they'll say, "I have 8 cents, who has?" and they have to figure out the value.
So they'll say, "10 cents," and then whoever has 10 cents, this card, will say, "Oh, I have 10 cents, who has?" 30 cents. So they're gonna have to figure out the value of this co— of these coins before passing the turn to the next person. So that game is really fun and has been really helpful for my students.
Um, so this is the Money Mega Pack, all the different resources and materials that I use with my students with autism to work on money skills, which I think is such an important life skill that our kids really need to work on.
