Hi, this is Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com, and this is a product preview of my file folder activities to match, sort, count, and more, monster-themed. So I decided to make monster-themed ones for Halloween because I know some schools aren't allowed to do exactly Halloween-themed activities, and then also you can use these throughout the whole year. So I hate when I have something that's so cute seasonally that we can only use for a month, so I kind of liked the idea of doing monsters because it could go for a little longer than just Halloween, but also works for Halloween. You get the point. So basically, if you've seen my other file folder activities, this is really similar. There's a guide page that shows you where to put all the labels. So the key to staying organized is to really make sure each of these tasks is labeled properly. So there's a label for the front of the file folder, the tab title, and the baggie title. So you'll never lose it, and you'll be able to find all the pieces right away. So I'll just quickly go through the types of activities in here. Um, this is sorting monsters by size, so it'll be big monsters and little monsters with the visual. Matching Monsters, so these are matching exact pieces to exact pieces. These are challenging because some of the monsters do look a little similar, so I kind of like that. This one is just boxes, matching, matching, matching monsters, so a little bit easier. Next is Ordering from Big to Small. This was a task I realized that was really difficult for a lot of my kids. I really love working on this, so they order the pieces from big to small and they have 4 opportunities to do that. Next is Easy Patterns, so this is an AB pattern and there's 2 times that they're going to do that. Next is middle pattern, ABC, so following that pattern. And next is the hard one, so this is ABCD, ABCD. So this one's really tricky, and again, the monsters do look a little similar, so they really have to focus here. Um, next is matching numbers 1 through 10, so matching the number to the number word, and then 11 through 12— 20, matching the numbers to the number word. Um, one more math one, this one is counting monsters, so this is great even for your kids that can't write because they're just matching the Velcro number piece right to the amount right here. And then there are some pre-literacy activities. So this one is ordering the alphabet. So here are the alphabet pieces and they will put them in order. And next is matching lowercase to uppercase. So this is great to start to target those pre-literacy skills in a fun way. So that's it, 12 different file folder activities, all monster-themed. I think these are really, really cute. My kids have already really been liking them, so I hope your students like them too. This is a product preview from theautismhelper.com.
