Hi, this is Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com, and this is a product preview of Move It or Lose It Emotions. So this game is all focused on facial— on picture cues of different emotions and practicing making those emotions in kind of a game setup. This has been really helpful for my students with autism to practice emotions because a lot of times kids are missing that connection of what your face looks like when you are feeling a certain way. So kind of practicing making the facial expressions of being sad, being frustrated, with pairing it with the words of that emotion. This has really helped my kids throughout their, the rest of their life, that when they are upset or when they are disappointed, they can communicate using the names of those emotions instead of just having a meltdown. So giving a name to those feelings and practicing, practicing, practicing, pairing it with the physical look of the emotion has really, really helped my students. So, These are all of the cue cards we use, and with my other games that are like this, I laminated these circles and then just glued them onto popsicle sticks. And this has been really easy. They just— I store them all in one little container. It's pretty quick to set up, and that's kind of how I've been storing them. And then we take turns pulling one, and everyone in the group practices making the face. So I'll just go briefly through. There's 36 different emotions, so some, you know, higher-level ones like lonely or bored, and then some more basic ones, happy or scared. I also tried to use similar words, scared and afraid, since those do mean the same thing, but to kind of expand the vocabulary on emotions as well, like depressed for sad and things like that. So here's all the different emotions, 36 different ones. And actually, when I laminated these, I cut these out into sets of 2, and you can actually fit 6 circles on one laminating page, so it was pretty quick to laminate. So there's even— I did some kind of taste ones: spicy, sour, delicious, disgusted. My kids think these are hilariously fun, so those are some kind of fun ones too. Um, yep, so these are all the picture cards for Move It or Lose It Emotions. This was a product preview by theautismhelper.com.
