Hi, this is Sasha from theautismhelper.com, and this is a product preview of Sequencing File Folder Activities. So sequencing is a skill that can be really tricky to target, especially with our students who are nonverbal, who have low verbal skills, but it's really great to kind of show comprehension and time perception. So it's something I do really like to try to target, and these file folders are perfect to target the skill in a multiple of types of ways. Included in this resource are the materials to make 5 different file folder activities. This is great to work on teaching the skill of sequencing, but also maintaining that skill. Once that's mastered, these are great for independent work because you can't just match these and fly by. You have to really think about each one, so it will slow down some of those quick workers. First up, like with all my file folders, included in this are instructions for setup and 3 different types of titles for the file folders so everything can be labeled. Very organized. And first up is our What's Next, and this one has just basic first then. So with this file folder, there's 2 pages that will be in the inside, and you're just gonna match the second step to the first one. So here's the pieces. So this is kind of our most basic level, just to work on basic steps of first then. The next one's a little bit different. We're gonna put both the first and the next together, so kind of taking it one step farther, so putting the first step and the next step in the right order. So I kind of wanted to make these two advance in difficulty. Um, the next one is putting in order with 3 pieces. So there's a few different versions of this type of skill. So here's the first one. This one's with no words, and this one's pretty easy. So, um, similar types of size, growing, things like that. So putting in order first, next, and last. Um, the next one is a little bit harder. Same thing with 3 steps. 3 steps, but they're a little bit more difficult concepts, so words are included. So putting it in order, um, first, next, last. And then the last one, the same 3-step, um, but there are 6 different examples. So it's just gonna be a bigger field to choose from to kind of identify the different steps here. So there's 6 different sequences, each with 3 steps. Um, so again, there's 5 different file folders included with all of the labels and instructions for setup. So this will really advance from your early learners on this skill to your more advanced and would be great for both guided instruction and independent work.
