The Autism Helper presents 13 VB-MAPP task cards for Level 3reading and writing. The cards cover letter matching, rhyming, word identification, shape tracing, and copying letters and numbers. They fulfill all Level 3 reading and writing requirements for the VB-MAPP assessment.
I'm the Autism Helper, and this is a product preview of our VB-MAPP aligned task cards for reading and writing. So there are 13 task cards included, and these cover all of the skills that need materials in Level 3 for the reading and the writing sections. So first we have 12E. This is matching upper and lowercase letters, so a bunch of different exemplars, finding the upper and lowercase letter and matching them. Next we have 12m. 12m is selecting an uppercase letter from an array of 5. So we have sets with different sets of flashcards with different sets of 5 letters, and you will ask to show one of those letters, so receptively identify. 13m is to tact uppercase letters, so we have a set of uppercase letter flashcards to use for tacting. 14b, we have match word to the same word written, so we have the words in different text on the top and matching it to a different type of text on the bottom, matching words. Reading 13— 14E is identify and match variations of letters. So we have letters in a variety of fonts and then matching the letters from the variety of fonts. 15A, identica— indicate if two words rhyme. So there are two words and you have to say yes or no if they rhyme. 15C, match lower to uppercase letter. So So flashcards with the lowercase letter and then the uppercase letter below. 15D for reading, discriminate between letters and numbers. So we have sets with a letter and a number in different orders and finding which one is which with the prompt on the top. These would also be great for a work task, I think. Reading 15F, select a written word from an array of 3. So these are flashcards with 3 written words and you will say, "Where is brown?" And they'll point to brown, or, "Where is pretty?" And they have to identify between the 3 words. Reading 15M, Matching Words to Pictures. So there are words with 3 pictures for Common Dolch Nouns. Writing 12M, Tracing Shapes. So you have some shape tracing flashcards. And then Writing 13M and 15M, Copying Letters and Numbers. So there's the prompt, the letter and the number, and for upper and lower, and then the numbers, and the students will copy it. These are also great for work tasks.
