In this product preview video, Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com walks viewers through a downloadable zip containing five PDF books designed to teach verb concepts and tense usage to students, especially those on the autism spectrum. The first book focuses on matching verbs using WH‑question prompts and movable verb pieces. The second book introduces past, present, and future progressive forms (is/was/will be) with visual cues and suggests using the pages as anchor charts. The third and fourth books offer two versions of simple past, present, and future verb conjugation, letting students practice the same verb across tenses. The fifth book requires students to infer tense from verb forms using a star cue, functioning like a mini‑multiple‑choice activity. The final book concentrates on present progressive subject‑verb agreement (is/am/are) based on pronouns. Throughout, Sasha highlights storage pages for keeping movable pieces, printing options (all at once or per concept), and classroom implementation ideas such as anchor charts. The video serves as an instructional and promotional overview of the series, emphasizing its flexibility, hands‑on components, and alignment with WH‑question practice.

Hi, this is Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com, and this is a product preview of my Verb Adapted book series. So when you get this download, there are 5 books included. So you get a zip file, which means all 5 PDFs are included. So you just click on it and it'll open up to the 5 different books. So you can pick and choose how you print them— print them all at once, or print as you introduce each concept, whatever you want. So this first one is the basic one. This is matching verbs. There's instructions for how to set up included in each book. This one is just matching the verbs, so kind of learning to develop this concept and category of what is a verb and what does that look like in a sentence. I of course tied in WH questions because we always have to work on WH questions. So each page starts with a WH question and the student will answer by moving the movable piece with the verb. So there's all these different pages and then you will Attach this bookstore, the pieces storage page, to the right side of the last page. If you're not familiar with how to do that, the directions are included. This is really key because you will not lose the pieces. And then here are the movable pieces for each book and for each page, or for each page. So the next book is Past, Present, and Future Progressive. So the same thing, the pictures are included on the page. And in each one you will select is, was, or will be. So there's kind of a prompt for the first page. I actually also really like the idea of using this as an anchor chart in your classroom, so printing this page twice. And then each page has two different options where you will pick is, was, or will be with each sentence. So the cue here is this starting visual and words, whether it's past, present, or future. So inferring that next year means it's the future, so next year she will be visiting the farm versus yesterday she was taking a bath. This is a really hard skill for a lot of our kids, so this is really key. So here's the storage page and then all of the pieces, and these are just text. The next one is— there are two different versions for past, present, future, just verbs, not progressive. So these ones are just past, present, future. I couldn't decide which version I liked better, so I made both. Here's the instructions. The cue card, and then each page it's the same subject of the sentence, the same theme, but you will be conjugating the verb for each one. So yesterday he flew to Florida, next week he will fly to Florida, now he flies to Florida. So I love the idea of conjugating the same verb for past, present, and future for each page. The next past, present, future one is going to be looking at selecting whether it's past, present, or future based on the sentence. And there's not as clear of a cue. It doesn't say, "Yesterday the dog walked in the yard." You have to infer that because it's "walked," it's past. And what the student will be moving on each piece is this star cue, movable piece. So they'll move the star to past, present, or future for each one. So this one I really like. It's kind of like a little mini multiple choice. The last one is present progressive. So the other progressive tense included past, present, future. This one looks at just present and conjugating based on the subject of the sentence. So this one is, "Is am, or are based on the initial pronoun there. So you're gonna move is, am, or are for each one. Here's all the options and then all of the movable pieces. So this was a product preview of my Verb Adapted book series, including past, present, and future, progressive, and just typical verbs, all in this resource. So there's 5 books included just in this set. This was— so thanks for watching. Bye!
