Hi, this is Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com, and this is a product preview of Visual Daily Schedule for Children with Autism. So this is kind of the holy grail of all, any autism classroom— the visual schedule. Children with autism really struggle with transitions as well as struggle with receptive language, so often they don't understand what is being told to them when an adult tells them, "We have reading and then we have lunch." They need that visual cue to really show them what's going on, and this can really help easing anxiety and behaviors. So I tried to make I tried to make this packet inclusive of all pictures I could think of for your classroom as well as explaining how to use this and how to set it up. So I have a pretty lengthy description of how and why this is important and some pictures of how I use this in my classroom. So where I put my labels and then how I set my schedule up. You can use this on a wall or in a binder. So the pictures will be laid out in the order that they are occurring and when students are finished they will put them in the— in a finished envelope and when they it is their turn for the activity, they'll pull off the PECS picture and they will match it to the label. And then when they're done, they'll take it off and then put it in Finish. So that's kind of the concept behind this. And as they go through the day, the pictures will lessen and lessen until the end of the day. Um, so there's a bunch of pictures on how it works in my classroom. And then I have 41 different schedule options. So obviously you won't need all of these, but I tried to think of every station you could possibly have in your classroom. If something is not included on here, please feel free to email me. Many people have already, just to add a picture or two, or if you want the wording to be a little different. I know every classroom has their own little way they call things, so I'm happy to make additions to this. So these are the different types of pictures that are included in here for a variety of different centers in your classroom. In addition to these small pictures that are used on the actual schedule, I included a big label for each one. So these are the ones you can post around your classroom where the student will match the small picture to it. And I actually like for— I was just past these— the OT and PT and the therapies. You could also keep these in an envelope and then pull them out as the therapist comes so they have something to match to, since you probably don't— maybe don't want to have these posted all the time since it's not something happening every day. But there's a big picture for all of the 41 options included in here. And yeah, that's all. The list of the pictures is included in the description, so you'll know exactly which ones you're getting. Yep, and this was a product preview of Visual Daily Schedule for children with autism from theautismhelper.com.
