Hi, this is Sasha from theautismhelper.com, and this is a product preview of my visual questions for children with autism. So I've had this product in my store for a really long time. I gave it a little facelift plus added a bunch more questions. This really is one of my tried and true favorite things to utilize with kids on the spectrum because a lot of our kids have a really hard time making choices, and a lot of times we also get stuck using visuals only for requesting, not for asking and answering questions. So not only does this give our kids the chance to practice making a choice, but it also gives them the chance to communicate using visual— visuals if our students are nonverbal or have low verbal skills, besides just requesting. Because we don't want to only teach our kids to say, "I want iPad, I want chicken nuggets." We want them to answer questions. So this set includes 18 questions. I added 7 new ones. If you had the old set, you can re-download. So each question has 2 to 4 options, so you will Velcro and laminate the answers and put them right on here. And then students can choose how it's kind of pictured right here, the answer for each question. So this is a great activity to do part of circle time or morning meeting. I've seen a lot of classrooms use this there. Put these all on a ring or in a binder and have students ask each other. Have students that have limited verbal skills go up to their friends and ask them, you know, hand them the card that says, what's your favorite dessert? Is a great way to start those social interactions. So there's a wide range of questions included, things like, you know, everyday things like how did you get to school, or what's the temperature, versus what kinds of movie or salty snacks do you like. So picking things that are your favorite, also picking things that you've done in the past. So again, this was a product preview of my Visual Questions for Children with Autism by theautismhelper.com.
