Sasha reviews "When Is It?," an adapted book that teaches the "when" question through multiple-choice prompts about time of day, seasons, holidays, and scenarios. Movable pieces prevent students from memorizing answer order, and the varied examples help autistic learners practice concrete language skills.

Hi, this is Sasha from theautismhelper.com, and this is a product review of my When Is It? adapted book. So I have a bunch of adapted books that each focus on a specific wh-question, and this one looks at the when question. And these books are all multiple choice, so each page will have 2 to 3 options. You won't need a Ziploc bag to store the pieces, so the 2 options will go here. You'll read the prompt and pick the correct answer. When is such a tricky question, so I really, really love this book. Because it will really work on when in a lot of ways, whether it's the time of day, the season, a holiday, or specific scenario like I'm wearing a costume asking for candy, when is it? The 3 options here are Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas, and you have to pick which one. So looking at different seasons, times of day, or the day of the week even. So a variety of ways to look at answering when questions, and then each has 2 to 3 options. You can move them around and students won't memorize the order or anything like that. So again, this was a product preview of the "What Is It?" Adapted Book by theautismhelper.com.
