Product preview of Level 2 reading comprehension. So you can download this by sections or the complete resource, which will hopefully help with printing. Um, Level 2 is going to really get into more advanced phonics skills and building on those WH questions and other reading comprehension skills. So this is going to start at Level A or B, or, um, BR 70 to 50, and then it will end, um, as you'll see here, at a Level F or 200 to 300, depending on the type of assessments you use. There is a focus listening, there's a focus sight word skill, phonics skill, and book skill for each unit. There are the flashcards for the sight words. These are the finishing up the Fry First 100, so by the end of Level 2 you all completed all of those. This one is going to obviously build in difficulty. The thing that I love about the text passages, so there's a text passage on every single page The words in this text passage will only include the sight words and phonics skills from the previous units, so these should be previously mastered, all of these words. And then when you work on the reading comprehension skill of attending and understanding and comprehending what's included, you'll know that this— the skill— the words in here are very fluent. So for example, Unit 5, the words in here Well, each word would have previously been a sight word, or the type of word is a phonics skill that was already touched on. So there's gonna be no surprises. Students should be very fluent with these passages, and then they'll really be able to work on the book skill, like identifying the characters or details or retelling. And then again, we're still building phonics skills, we're still building sight words, so it's going to work on simultaneously building those phonics decoding skills while increasing the sight word fluency as well.
