Hi, I'm Asha from theautismhelper.com, and this is a product preview of Science Level Daily Curriculum Level 4. So if you've utilized any of the other curriculum subjects or levels, this is the same format. There are 8 units, each with 2 to 3 focus topics, and then there's a 9th review unit. So each unit follows the same structure and will extend on those 3— 2 to 3 focus unit topics. So Unit 1 looks at physical and chemical properties of matter as well as changes in matter. There's an anchor chart that will guide your instruction and be a tool for students students to use. There is a pre-test, a rubric, and the rubric is one of my favorite components of all of these curriculum because it has a, an aspect where you can start to initiate data-based instruction by analyzing the errors your students have on that post-test. So once your students take the post-test and there are errors, you'll be able to look at where those errors are occurring and what you still need to do instruction on. So after the pre- and post-test and the rubrics, there are 20 activities. You can do one page per day or multiple pages. If you do one page per day This will last the entire year. Since this is level 4, obviously we're looking at some more advanced topics like force, magnets, animal adaptations, phases of the moon, extreme weather. There's a lot of great and really functional topics that are covered in this unit. Unit 3 looks— or in this, in this level, Unit 3 looks at comparing life cycles of organisms. So as you can see, a lot of writing, a lot of different ways to practice the same skill, which is definitely what our kids need. Very age-appropriate, looking at things like animal adaptations, illustrations, a lot of real photos. There's nothing, you know, little kid looking like in this, especially since we are looking at these more advanced topics like things like traits and behaviors, um, instincts versus learned behaviors. I'm going to scroll through and show a few more pages to give you an idea of what's included. The content does loop back, so within each unit there will be some activities from the previous unit so we can make sure students are continuing to maintain mastery in those subjects as well. So Unit 7 here focuses on measuring weather and extreme weather, and then Unit 8 is on phases of the moon.
