Check out this cute matching book that I made for my daughter. So first thing we want to work on is spelling her name. When she's in this stage where we're really just learning, we want to put it in order so she can just pull the letters up, but then as she gets better, we can mix it all up so she really has to attend to the letters. Next, we're going to work on matching colors. We're keeping it simple and easy with matching colored balloons. I love having the pieces stored right here, super easy to find everything. Then we're working on shapes. Then we get to letters. I have it color-coded here because we're still working on this, and this helps her find the letters more easily. Then we have the rest of the alphabet all set up in here, and then numbers. This is a great activity to do during circle time, during, um, at home. Lots of times that you can use this to build those basic skills and start to get your child independent.
