This is nice because it gives a lot of control and choice to students, which many students, that's a big reinforcer and I get it. I like to pick how I spend my time. So I use this with a dry erase marker. You could put even like a little Velcro guy or something there. So picking, okay, how do you want your hands? Do you want your hands folded? Do you want your hands by your side? Do you want your hands in your lap? How do you want your body? Do you wanna sit in a chair? Do you wanna stand? Do you wanna sit on the floor? How do you want your mouth? Do you wanna be quiet or do you wanna whisper to a friend? So it's really kind of putting the accountability on the student and knowing their own body and what they wanna do. Which I think is just, one, really respectful, and two, gonna really give that child a lot of power in a good way.
