Here are 3 of my favorite types of resources and strategies to use for small group instruction. First, a color-coded mini schedule. This is gonna show students where to go. They're gonna go check in at their center and all at the center instruction, everything that you're gonna do. Then mini schedules. When you get to guided reading groups, what are you doing that day? That small group schedule is all there. You can arrange it based on those activities and everyone's on the same page. And last, those expectations. You wanna clarify the expectations at the start of every single group. I love that this one's movable. It has pictures and words. So we can really focus on what the rules are during small group instruction.
