Olivia from theautismhelper.com shows how to set up the All About Animals adapted book for autistic learners. The book has 18 question groups across pages that ask kids about size, counting, color, and animal identification. Each page uses Velcro pieces and requires laminating and cutting to prepare.

Hi, this is Olivia from theautismhelper.com, and this is a video product preview for our All About Animals Adapted Book. Um, here is the first page, so it has our book setup instructions. These are set up just like our regular Adapted Books, so it tells you what to laminate and what to cut out the pieces and where to put them and where to put the types of Velcro. So this is, again, All About Animals. The Adapted Book works on size, counting, and color identification. So here are some of the pages. It has— the students have the pictures that they match and they have to answer the questions. So here we have the "How many? What color?" The bear, we have the "How many? What size?" And again for the other birds. So the other animal questions include like "What animal?" Um, "What color?" again. So these questions go through, and so it's great that there's 3 per page, and so that means there's 18 groups total in this book. Adapted books are a really great way to work on describing, discriminating between these different questions and answering the identifications between them. So we love these books, and here again are all the pieces. So these are what you would laminate, Velcro, and cut out and keep in a baggie separate, so, or on the back page over here on this sheet actually. So again, this was All About Animals adapted book for children with autism, brought to you by theautismhelper.com. Thanks for watching!
