An eight-unit social skills curriculum starts with basics like sharing and personal space, then builds to friendship, sportsmanship, expressing feelings, empathy, conversation, and perspective taking. Each unit has differentiated expectations for different learner levels.
All right, some of the themes that we work on. We start off Unit 1 with fundamentals, things like sharing, voice volume, personal space. Unit 2 is on being a good friend. Here's what Level 3 looks like, and here's Level 1. So we've got that differentiation built in. Unit 4, jumping ahead, is being a good sport. Unit 5 is expressing feelings. Unit 6 is empathy. And Unit 7 is conversation skills. And Unit 8, that I don't have, is perspective taking.
