Let's talk about the types of tasks that you can have in your task bins. Now let's start with basic foundational skills. You can work on fine motor skills by doing a put-in task and just putting items in a certain spot. You can find items like this in your own house. Assembly tasks, sorting tasks— these are all types of tasks that you can easily create with things you already have. You can get to more language-based skills like sorting and matching and little and big and file folders. And then you can of course have academic tasks like a science skill of sorting things that are hot or cold, or looking at money combinations, or inferences. A great work task is just laminating task cards and putting it in with a dry erase marker.
