Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com shows a set of visual recipe cards for quick microwave snacks. The recipes reuse the same simple ingredients across treats, and each comes with a comprehension worksheet that works for all of them. Everything photocopies easily for classrooms or parties.
Hi, this is Sasha from TheAutismHelper.com, and this is a product preview of my Winter Treats and Snacks visual recipes. So I made these for the summer and then again for Halloween, and people really loved them, and I love how quick and easy these are. So there was a bunch of recipes that I already kind of always tended to do in December, so I was excited to put these together. So there's a bunch of different recipes included. Everything only needs a microwave, nothing more than that, and I think only a few of them actually need the microwave if you don't have one. So here's the ingredients if you want to make a shopping list. The ingredients are pretty simple, and a lot of the ingredients go for multiple recipes, which for me it was always kind of key because we didn't always use all of one, you know, all of the pretzels, etc. So here's all of the different visual recipes that showed the different steps to make them. A lot of them are obviously Christmas holiday themed. December is the perfect time to do cooking because no one really wants to do any work anyways. Included, like the other recipes, are recipe visual questions. So if you have these from the other ones, this is exactly the same. Which is nice because you don't need to remake this part. You just need to make the new pieces, which are right here for the response options. And then this same kind of question and answer sheet, that comprehension activity that goes for all recipes, which again, I like that it's not individualized to each recipe. I like that this is one, one sheet that works with everything. So you can just photocopy a bunch of these and have them ready to go. It's super, super easy. So I love this quick little set, great for this time of year, great for holiday parties, things like that. So this was a product preview of Winter Treats and Snacks by theautismhelper.com.
