In this brief video, Paul Sloane, president of the Ascot and Sunningdale Cottinians, extends a warm invitation to fellow Cottinians to attend the society’s regular monthly meetings and a special New Brothers Evening. He explains that the regular meetings occur on the first Monday of each month at the Berry Steed Hotel in Sunninghill, except when that Monday is a bank holiday. He highlights the upcoming New Brothers Evening on Monday, 4 June, describing it as a fun, entertainment‑focused event that will feature a more informal style—no regalia or archaic language—and will include a personal talk by Paul about his own journey. He also praises the hotel’s food and expresses enthusiasm about welcoming attendees.

Hello, my name is Paul Sloane. I'm president of Ascot and Sunningdale Cottinians, and if you're a Cottinian, you're very welcome to come to any of our meetings. We meet on the first Monday of every month at the Berry Steed Hotel in Sunninghill, unless the first Monday is a bank holiday. But I'd particularly like to invite you to our New Brothers Evening, which is on Monday the 4th of June this year, and this is always a very special night where we invite a lot of brothers and new brothers and visiting gentlemen to attend, and the emphasis will be on fun and entertainment this year. We've got a different style to our meetings this year. For example, we've done away with regalia and some of the archaic language, and there will be some interesting elements to the night, including I'll be giving a talk about some parts of my personal journey. I think it will be a great evening. The food at the Berry Seed is very good, and I'd very much like to welcome you on that particular night.
