It is Sunday the 5th of October 2025, and we're at Hannah and Sam's apartment waiting for the babies to wake up. Um, and it's a lovely sunny day, 83 degrees in Brooklyn at the moment.
Okay, so Bernadette is 5 days old. What would you like to wish for her for her life?
Well, I wish her a very healthy Very healthy and long life. I hope she has a wonderful career and I hope she does her mum and dad and her grandparents proud.
Thank you. Al, what do you wish for Bernadette?
At least I'm just going second. Well, because we've been to Mass this morning, which was all about faith, hope and charity, I would wish Those 3 things. So faith, because some spiritual guide, whatever it may be, is always important. Hope, because it's important to be optimistic, particularly nowadays. And charity as well. So I'm sure she will be blessed, and I hope she appreciates how many good things she has in her life with her parents and her family.
Thank you.
Jackie?
I wish for her a life full of new experiences, travels, living in different places, meeting different people, and having a very varied life and, uh, yeah, experience of life.
Good.
Different cultures.
Now for the mother.
You're very close to the camera there, Jackie. I'm going to repeat what Mum said in terms of health and happiness. You can't repeat health. And then I'm going to say something else. So I definitely want her to be healthy and happy and authentic to herself. So I want her to be exactly who she is, not trying to please us.
Yeah.
But authenticity. Yeah.
And for the father?
I was going to use the authentic part, but I want her to be confident. Which ties into the authenticity. Just be confident, happy, and proud of who she is and not try to do things to please others. Plus everything that everyone else said about being healthy and happy and preferring her father.
And now granddad.
Well, I wish that she is ambitious and she sets great goals and achieves them. I'd like her to achieve great things in life and make a difference in the world.
And be a true lateral thinker.
Yeah. And here she is, the person in question, the little babby.
The lovely Bernadette. Lovely Bernadette.
So here we are still. Dot, what are you eating?
What you eating? Cheese and a raspberry. No, no raspberries.
No raspberry.
All right, lemon.
I'll let him have the cheese.
I'll let him have the cheese.
Do you like cheese? Oh, Dot, what is your sister's name? What's she called, the little baby?
Berna.
And what's your name? You're Dot. Oh, do you go to school? No, you don't. All right. What's your favourite thing on TV? Is it Peppa? Do you like Peppa? Peppa Pig and Bad What? Bad Da Da Da. Bad dinosaurs. Dinosaurs. And what about Tom and Jerry? Tom and Jerry. Very good. All right, we're going to take you for a little walk to the playground now. Okay.
