Okay, hi, I'm Alan Foon. I'm a geophysicist. I used to work for a company called BG Group who got taken over by Royal Dutch Shell and I had to move on. CareerSpring was exceptionally useful. It's a real big morale booster because not only do you get interesting talks, but it's really important to get the support of people around you and people from other industries. People in many industries that they work in tend to be quite insular. But this shows you that many other people are going through what you have gone through, and what you've learned is useful when you come to networking, coming to interview practice, coming to writing your CV and presenting yourself and selling yourself. That's something that people are not used to, but Careerspringboard gives you the confidence to be able to do that in order to be able to sell yourself and get another job, which I have managed to do.
