So, Des, tell us a joke. A joke? Me? Well, there's this author who decided to get away from it all and go down the country and take a little cottage so he could do his writing and have a lot of peace and quiet. And he was writing away one night with his pen and paper when he heard a scratching noise on the front door, and he went out and he couldn't find anything. And then he looked down and there was a little snail, a tiny little snail in his shell, and he was scratching on the door. So the author was absolutely furious at being interrupted, so he picks the snail up and hurls him about 200 yards into a field. About a year later, he's sitting down writing in his cottage, getting on very well with writing his stuff, and he hears the same scratching on the door again. And he goes out, looks around, can't see anything, and then he looks down and sees the very same snail there again. And the snail says to him, What was all that about?
