So today is November 11th, 2018, and our granddaughter Madeleine has been staying with us. What's it been like, Madeleine?
So yesterday— we're gonna start here— I arrived here and we went to the cinema and we watched The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. Then We came home and Grandad was here because it was raining, and then we— then we— then— oh yeah, then we went to church, and after church we got some fish and chips takeaway, and we watched Strictly.
Did you like Strictly?
Yes.
And what new game did you learn this week?
Oh, and I also learnt how to play rummy club that evening. And who won? And I became the champion.
You became the champion. And what have we done today on Sunday?
So we, we, this morning we went out and we went to some toy shops, but all were closed, so we went to some boring clothes shops and some bookshops.
Jolly good.
