Hello, I'm Andy. I came along to Bracknell Springboard about 6 weeks ago now, I suppose, to help find a job. I'd been looking on my own for a job for a week or two and wasn't really getting anywhere with it, but the guys at Springboard really helped. So there were 3 things that helped me in my, in my job search. Firstly, The guys at Springboard took a look at my CV, took a look at my LinkedIn profile, helped me make some changes, helped me focus on what I'd actually achieved in my previous roles to help me in the search. Secondly, I used my network from previous roles, got on the phone, talked to lots and lots of people, let them know that I was available and what I was looking for. And then thirdly, more of a personal thing really, I tried to make sure that every day I picked something positive out of what had happened during the course of my job searching on that particular day to make sure that when I woke up the following day, I had a positive state of mind and I was ready to try and find that job. I now have a job offer which I'm going to accept, so that's me. Thank you.
