ACT and Grow Rich Part 10 of 13 SEX TRANSMUTATION

Paul H. Flowers Jr. explains sex transmutation from Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich: redirecting sexual energy into creative and productive work. Hill ranked sex as the top mental stimulus, and the speaker uses athletic and cultural examples to show how willpower and moderation channel desire into achievement.

Welcome to Wednesday's Weekly Words of Wisdom. We've been going over week after week Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, my take on it, which is Act and Grow Rich. And this week, you've got to stay tuned for just a few minutes Pretty brief week, pretty brief segment, but it's one of the most interesting segments that anyone's ever really heard of. I'll kind of give it a preface by saying it's the reason we're all here. If I had the little music playing in the background, it'd be a really old '90s song that goes something like this: Let's talk about sex, baby, let's talk about you and me. Because that's exactly what this week is over— the 10th step towards riches. In Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich is sex transmutation. Now this is a really interesting one because when people first hear it, first off they just hear sex, right? So that automatically gets people listening. Then they hear that transmutation part, and then the question becomes, well, what is transmutation? Transmutation is the idea of taking one thing and turning it into something else so that Sex transmutation almost literally turns to taking sex, or the lack thereof, and turning it into something else. So let's back it up to go forward just a little bit. We started off with desire as the first step. Secondly, we showed how to have desire by increasing your faith. Showed how to have faith by having autosuggestion. Utilize specialized knowledge in terms of learning your craft, knowing your craft. Had the imagination to think bigger about what it is that you want to do, put some organized plans in place, and made a decision that you were gonna continue to persist through whatever trials and tribulations it took while you form your mastermind group to then begin to continue on your journey towards financial freedom, wealth, and riches. Now, this week, Sex Transmutation is again a little bit more interesting than most, so let's just hop right in. Now, sex in and of itself, we all know what it is. We're all the result of just that thing. Now, how do you transmute sex? Well, let's talk about what it's used for first. Firstly, it's actually just a measure of procreation. We all know that. Again, that's the whole reason why any of us is here, is because somebody— mother— did some— met someone— father— and said that, you know what, we're going to create you. But even that in and of itself is a miraculous thing. If you've never thought about it, just take a minute now, digress for just a moment, and think about the miracle that it took for all of the events that took place for your mother to get where she was, then your father to get where he was, and to come together. And out of all the sperm cells and all the eggs that have been created and moved through their bodies through the years came you. So just take a moment to reflect, if nothing else, on the fact that sex is a beautiful thing because had it not been for that very act, you wouldn't be here, right? So there's that. It's procreation, maintenance of mankind. Basically perpetuating our species is the other reason that it's here, right? So to make people and to keep people around are the two other reasons. Third point about sex, what it's used for, why it's here, is to actually turn mediocrity into genius. Believe it or not, it's a tool to turn mediocre people into geniuses. Now, before you all go running away and start calling your friends like, hey, I'm trying to become a genius, this guy online said that if I actually have more sex, I'll be a genius. Wait a second, right? It's not about just having wild, crazy, uncontrolled sex. That's not the idea in this, right? The idea is to actually exercise willpower and how often you engage in the act, the reasons that you engage in the act, and realizing what you're thinking about while engaging in the act. So he goes through, the author does, and talks about how when you engage in the act of having sex, there's not only the chemicals that are moving around through your brain and body, right, that make you feel all great and good, but also the mental energy that's expended into the universe connected between your partner that actually makes things come to life. Aside from just people, right? So the vibration of sex is one that's more powerful than many and just about any other out there when it comes to the process of creation. So there's also that desire for sex that moves people forward just the same. Now, this is when we go back to that point about willpower. So again, it's not just going out and just willy-nilly having uncontrolled sex, right? Just That's just not gonna be any good for anybody. You'll get nothing done, you'll be really tired, right? Because it's literally your body's energy you're expending out into the world. Whereas if you transmute that desire to have sex, you would then turn it into something a little bit more productive, right? You think about your people like, um, uh, I would say the people like Tiger Woods, but clearly he turned that into what he turned it into. Kobe Bryant, right? We know sports stars that have used sex in a slightly different way. Another way of describing the idea of sex transmutation from a male's perspective— sorry ladies, but the author's a guy— is that he notes how many of the great achievements by man is done with the driving force of a woman behind them. Now this is a point where, especially for it being March, National Women's Month, we all give our hats off, you know, tip our hats off to the women that are not only supportive of their men and what they do but the ones that actually push them to go higher, right? And ladies, you know who you are, the ones that are not only just supportive, saying, hey, all right, yeah, I'm okay with you doing that thing, but also inviting the ideas and conversations and mixing with your partner to then push and promote them to greatness. Uh, all the great men, or I should say not all, but many of the great men have gone to those greatest heights as a result of having a woman alongside them that not only did they engage in the act of sex with creating a partnership within their own home, mm, excuse me, that mastermind process, uh, but also having that motivating factor just the same. So much so that you do things not only for yourself, but also to make sure that you're pleasing that partner, thus translating into the desire for sex just the same. So having it just as well as desiring to have it have very synonymous effects, or say, what's the word, synonymous? Close enough, right? Very— the effects are very similar to one another, where if you want a thing, back to the first week, the very first week about desire, you want a thing so strongly that you literally put these thoughts, these vibrations, these waves out into the world, and it brings that thing to you. Same happens with the idea of sex. However, it is a slightly different energy, but the desire to do it, or maybe receive it in a pleasurable sense from one's partner, can guide and direct your actions in terms of staying on tack— on task or on track. Think about it, guys out there. Have you ever done something amazingly awesome and then next thing you know you get a reward? And you know the kind of reward I'm talking about, right? You get a reward. That same feeling of doing something great and having that as a reward is oftentimes more powerful than money. And actually, oddly enough, for sex It tops the list of the 10 mind stimuli that the author goes through, and I tend to agree with the order more or less, right? There's a few of them I switch around, but sex being the one that tops the list, followed by love. Yes, many people desire love, and you would think that that was the greatest force of all and the most attractive force of all. Yeah, kind of. And it all ends up boiling down to getting it in, right? Having sex, actually doing the act. So sex tops love in terms of mind and mental stimuli, followed by money, music, then friends. Next up, there's actually the mastermind. So we go from one friend to a multitude of friends being the mental stimuli that are on this list of 10. There's also, excuse me, oddly enough, mental suffering. So knowing that you are, are in the company of people that are suffering like you suffer is a mental stimuli. Autosuggestion comes in as number 8, fear, and then last but not least, drugs and alcohol. And no, we're not gonna have an entire chapter on each one of those, focusing right back on the desire for sex being the primary point of this one. Just wanted to bring that list out to say that it does in fact top the list of mental stimuli for both men and women. Again, I say men a lot in the context of the videos because— when relating to how the author relates it to the audience from 1937, it was primarily written from the man's perspective. So things were a little bit different then, but I'll do my best as we go on to continue to update the language as most as— as much as I can. Mm-hmm. Now again, sex energy being one of the most creative, you have to hone it into something. Now I'm saying this now to say go back if you don't know what to hone it into in those first weeks and look at your desire. What do you have a desire to do? What do you have a desire to be? What do you want to see in life? Where do you want to go? Take and use these desires that you have, and if you have a mate, great. Not saying be abstinent for any particular period of time, but just realize that when you're not engaging in this act of sex, you can actually use that desire to have something more profitable and productive come from the time in which you're apart from your partner. Think about that, right? So again, the act in and of itself being a wonderful thing, when you're away from it and you have a desire to have it, a drive by it— specifically men, again, driven by those women that are around and support you— you tend to do more than you would have done ordinarily if you were sitting there not worried about the act of intercourse. Again, if you don't believe it, look at your own lives, find the things and ways that this relates to you, and please go back and visit these other videos. I told you this would be a short one this week, uh, because again, just as interesting as it is, it's fairly simple. Not saying to have a lot less and just go out and be the monk of the world, go out and be the Gandhis or Mother Teresas of the world. They did great things too. And we all still enjoy the act very much so. However, if you control that willpower that you have, you exercise that willpower that you have in terms of how you have sex, how often you have sex, with whom you have sex, not just doing it all the time everywhere, that energy that you be expending doing that, you move it in this other direction and you'll sooner see the results of sexual transmutation on the other side again of producing those actions and activities that you're doing when you have that drive and desire for sex pushing you to do so. So again, weekly words of wisdom. It's Wednesday. It's been fantastic. Paul H. Flowers Jr. here with Act and Grow Rich. All I'm saying is think about sex, have sex, just not all the time. Control yourself, transmute it, and go do something wonderful. Let me know your results next week. Write your comments below.
