Alright, good evening. If you're taking a look now, stay tuned because tonight the most important— one of the most important topics that you'll hear about is coming up. It's about the people that you surround yourself with, so stay tuned for this. And we're ready to rock and roll. Mm-hmm. Ladies and gentlemen, Think and Grow Rich, Part 9, is on the mastermind principle. We've already been through desire, faith, autosuggestion to build that faith, being able to acquire and utilize your specialized knowledge, pairing that with an imagination, of course, having an organized plan, having a decision, and then persisting through it as the first 8 steps towards riches. There are 13 total that we've talked about, or that we will be talking about. 8 down. This is the 9th tonight, which is the Mastermind Principle, and it's amazingly important. Think about it like this: the Mastermind Principle is going to highlight who you surround yourself with and how they're able to help you to accomplish the definite purpose that you've set forth for your life. So, really quickly, just to kind of jump right into it, it's essential to have a certain source of power, right? We all have the power within to do tremendous things, amazing things with our lives. That potential is endless, boundless, it knows no ends. Now, think about what happens when this power that you have gets around with someone else who's equally as powerful, if not more, right? The two of you tend to synergize, combine, and create something that's even more powerful than either of you would have been able to go create by yourself. So power— knowledge essentially is power, having the know-how to do a thing and then putting that plan into action. So I should say applied knowledge through actions on plans is what's actually known as power. But where does this knowledge come from? There's a couple of key sources. One of them is Infinite Intelligence that actually heads the list. The next one is accumulated experience. That means through your life, the things that you've experienced is a source of power. I know somebody's gonna love that one out there, but that time that you spent going through life, you've had quite a bit of experiences that have shaped you for a thing. Next up is experiment and research. So some power comes from actual trial and error. Some knowledge, I should say, comes from trial and error. Now, let's take a step back just a little bit. And look at the idea of infinite intelligence interacting with 1 or 2 or 4 or however many are part of this mastermind, when that mastermind actually takes place. So what is the mastermind? Mastermind is a harmonious coordination of knowledge between 2 or more people for the attainment of a definite purpose, right? That definite purpose is key because if people are getting together and they've got no actual reason to get together, well, there might not be much that's accomplished. But for those that actually get together that have a definite purpose and they're doing it and operating in a sense of harmony, great and tremendous things actually do occur. So what is it to be with another person and be harmonious? Well, ideally you guys are gonna have a similarity of sorts in terms of what you're wanting to accomplish. So there may be a leader of specific one individual that has a plan or has an idea, and then they start to develop a surrounding cast around them. And as long as that leader's vision is strong enough to, again, maintain the attention and gather the trust and belief of those people that are going to follow with and along with them, again, that begins to create that harmony. So what harmony says is that there is a, a sort of balance where we all understand that we're here for a purpose. It's like having a roadmap and everybody knows that we're using the same map, right? Somebody's not using a US map and another person's using a map of the roads of Mexico, right? So even though, yeah, we're using maps, we're using different maps. No, that's not harmony. Harmony says that we're using the same maps going in the same direction. And like I've talked about in a couple, if not just about every one of the videos, at some point it always revolves around people people. It's always people. You're gonna be getting together with people at some point in time in order to accomplish something. So it definitely helps to be able to work with people in some capacity, especially if you have large goals that you're looking to attain. Excuse me. So with these people, you want to make sure that the people again are aware of the plan, that they know what this plan is, that you've actually crafted this plan, and that you're Putting them all together for the similar purpose of attaining the goal at the end of this path. Now, with that, the people getting together that do have a set of plan or roadmap, if you will, they have to be present. So this means usually not a bunch of, you know, cell phones beeping, right, things going off all the time. When you're together with your mastermind group, unless it's something surrounding the use of technology specifically, then ideally you want to put the technology aside because it's not the technology that actually aids in the mastermind having that harmony. It's simply the brains being in the same space and having an interconnectedness that's undisturbed. So think of it— when you think of brains, people getting together, like, think of these brains like batteries almost. So an individual battery only provides so much power, right? Some of us who used to use Walkmans back in the day you would have 2 AA batteries in the Walkman or in the CD player, the Discman. When you have these batteries and one's drained, right, you want to get rid of the one that's drained, or if it's a rechargeable, charge it back up. But that one battery alone won't power the Walkman. That one battery alone won't power the CD player, right? It won't power the thing, especially if it needs to. But when you put those 2 batteries together Even if both of the batteries are half charged, they'll still provide enough combined energy together to be able to power that thing. Well, brains are very similar. So with the brain, you're able to tap into this infinite intelligence, so to speak. What is infinite intelligence? We'll get to that at a different time. But with these brains, when they get together, you have one set of ideas here, you have another set of ideas here. And then a third set of ideas comes when those two brains are together working— two or more brains are working together in the spirit of harmony, thus creating that mastermind. So think of it like this: one plus one does not always equal two. One plus one can actually equal three, and what that third is, is the spirit of possibility that comes in when the two or more are working in a state of harmony. Have you ever been in a moment where you've been on the phone with somebody, maybe you guys were coming up with ideas for something, and you didn't have the idea before you connected with this person, and they didn't have the idea before they connected with you, but once the two of you got together, something happened, and then this idea just so happened to come out of nowhere, right? That's what that Spirit of Harmony can actually produce. Again, when you're using it in the correct fashion, when you're using it along with your mastermind group. Excuse me. Now, putting people together in and of itself is quite miraculous, right? It's a task to get you to work alone, right? The things that you need to do, it's a task to do that on a daily basis, let alone to get two people together. It's actually quite miraculous. So is the idea of a mastermind utilizing infinite intelligence also. So with these two people getting together in unison— unison is defined as a state of simultaneously performing an action. So doing it at the same time, the same thing, and getting a result. Simultaneously performing an action. The prefix of unison is uni, which is one. Now it's not to say one, meaning that one is actually performing the action. 'Cause when you think about like a cart pulling a horse, excuse me, a horse pulling a cart, that horse by itself is pulling that one cart and it may not move as fast. When you put two horses together, they act in unison and their powers are multiplied. So that effort is not just two times, right? We say two horsepower because it's a literal number or calculation that they use, but it's actually a combined effort that creates more than either of them would have been able to produce pulling by themselves. So if one horse can pull 1,000 pounds, that other horse can pull 1,000 pounds, you would think that together they can only pull 2,000 pounds, but in fact they can pull more like 2,500 to 3,000 pounds. So that's that extra energy that's created when the two work together in unison. So it's, it's not the two technically becoming one, because clearly there's no two things that are gonna become one, like fuse together, but it's the energy that's more so important. That's what gets together and becomes that mastermind. That's what works. That's what the spirit of harmony and possibility is all about. It's that combined effort that's actually invisible that moves the thing forward. So think about it like this, uh, do you want to surround yourself with people that are going to poke at you, prod you, right, kind of make fun of what you're doing, or do you want to surround yourself with people who are totally on board with the plans that you have to go forward, right, in life? So you have to choose this mastermind group wisely. Clearly, most people want the latter. You want to investigate who's around you. Are they supportive? Are they actually speaking about things that are relevant to your life? Are they a source of inspiration, motivation, or are they a person that consistently likes to down the things or ideas that you have? Again, when you choose this mastermind, choose it wisely because, again, choosing it well the first time is much better than having to constantly shuffle and move about. So be selective when you choose this mastermind group. Again, we wanna wrap up here. Really simple principle, really powerful. But very, very simple to think and utilize this when you're— excuse me— going forward in the attainment of the things that you desire. It's have the desire and the faith, use autosuggestion to actually create, compound, and grow the faith. You have specialized knowledge that you have through whatever experiences, right? And that knowledge in this sense of a mastermind sense It's only going to be enhanced when you're working in a spirit of harmony. Again, you have imagination as another step, organized planning, a decision that has to be made, and persistence to see it through. And those first 8 steps you want to make sure are present or understood by each person in the mastermind group. Otherwise, you're, you're constantly attempting to teach and train and motivate and all this stuff at the same time. And that can slow it down a little bit. So you really want people who want to move as fast as you do. Choose that group wisely. Make sure you keep them and that plan in front of you guys, that definite purpose that you're looking for. And I look forward to seeing through what your mastermind group is able to accomplish. It's been an absolute pleasure speaking with you this evening. Thank you for tuning in. Look forward to next week. It's actually going to be a really good one. I don't even want to give away the title But again, we're doing Act and Grow Rich, going over the 13 steps towards riches from Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich, and I look forward to actually going over that 10th step next week. 9 down, 4 to go. Stay tuned. Bye for now.
