A short conversational transcript from a YouTube case-study video about a Shopify product ad campaign. Speakers report nearly $1,300 in early sales after four days, describe Facebook’s optimization window (one-day view, seven-day click) as having improved performance, and plan to keep current settings and revisit scaling to $100/day. They discuss product costs (aiming for ~25% cost), negotiating supplier pricing at higher volume, observed ROAS history (1.7x in an initial December 12-day run, later hitting ~6x), and target ROAS goals (2x to reach ~20% net margin).

But man, I'll tell you what we, we are off to and I already have almost thirteen hundred dollars in sales.
Oh that's, that's really great, man.
After, after four days, Friday blew up. What did we do Friday? Did we do a different commercial? Did we do anything different Friday?
So here's the deal. So when it comes to running a Facebook ads, there is a optimization window. And then it looks like the optimization window hit us on the Friday, you know. And then what happened is just like the optimization window right now that we're running the ads is one day view, seven days click. So what that literally means that the Facebook is collecting all of the data that's been from the last week and creating a lookalike audience that have more chances to being our ideal customer Persona and to be positive impressions that will hit us the next week. So that way the impressions are pretty much like filtering out to have every single week fresh and more quality impressions. And that's how the optimization going. It feels like we just had enough data bots. We paying data with dollars. Not with the time that on the Friday he found the pocket. That is great. But look, he's not going to just make us reach that's fast, you know, because it will be a bad business to Facebook. So what he's doing right now, he's obtaining us with a decent amount of profit margins as well as looking for a new potential pockets of people so he can ensure a sustainability and incrementality. So that's what's currently Facebook's optimizing for. It was kind of like just like different story. But right now it's. It's just like this.
Okay. And who's, who is handling that part?
It's. It's us. It's us. It's. I'm doing, I'm doing every single, almost every single day. I'm checking your ad accounts. We're seeing where it goes. We're segmenting that by audiences to see which portion of the sales going to existing audiences, going to a new audiences, engaged audiences. We can make sure to present enough variety when it comes to a creatives to make sure that we just like copying up with all of the sales that we have currently on the account and also to ensure the sustainability of with you know, that said and let's.
Let'S let it roll like it is for now and let's make a call on Thursday and if everything looks good, we'll increase it to 100 a day for the rest of the month.
That is literally what it takes to scale a product right there because, man.
I'll tell you, I want to take advantage of 25% cost on. On the product, and it seems to be popular. And if we can even get like two times raws, then we're going to be. We're going to have a 20% net.
It's. It's going to get good. Yeah. And then when we have volume and monthly. Monthly quantity sold, we can always negotiate a better prices with our supplier. So we can have below that 25. We can get on 20 easily or even below 20. You know, then.
Then we're talking 30, 35 return. I mean. Yeah, that's crazy. Well, I'll tell you, I was. I was impressed with December since you only started. You only had like 12 operating days, and we still made 100 bucks, and we did a 1.7 raws on the ad spend.
That is a good one.
And. But now we're at like six. Like six. Six times. Holy. Man. I couldn't believe Friday. Friday was fun. Friday was a lot of fun. All right, well, then that's what we'll do. I'll text you on Thursday, and we'll just do an update and make a decision on the advertising spend for the weekend and then the rest of the month. Okay.
Awesome, buddy. That's. That's the plan. I wish you a good week. Let's see how it goes, and let's kill this.
