Peak's founder explains why he turns away clients who aren't a good fit, even offering free 90-minute consultations and coffee meetings to help them anyway. His philosophy: a client's success matters more than the fee, and his team's job is making them faster, stronger, and healthier in their investments.

Our whole MO was that client had to win first. And I know it sounds salesy. And what I loved was creating an environment where helping people get stronger and faster and healthier and more confident. And what drove me was helping other people win. That's where I really got the most fulfillment and enjoyment. And so when people would contact Peak, if I did not think we were right for them, for whatever reason, whether it be their strategy, their goals, the type of property that had our expertise at the time, whenever they contacted us, or our bandwidth, I wouldn't want to do it. I'd say, hey, look, we're not going to be the best fit for you at this time. But what that generated and how I handled that, because I would have an hour and a half long conversation with these clients, you know, if I was turning them down, I would schedule coffee and say, well, let's figure out how we can help you from here. And so I would relentlessly try to help people become their faster, stronger, healthier regarding their investments and their assets.
