Crane applications reopen on September 24th. Here's what you need to know. Crane is a paid private community for property management business owners. And if you don't know me, I'm Peter Lohmann. I own a 700-door property management business here in Columbus, Ohio. And a few years ago, I got to feeling like, wouldn't it be great if there was a community of property management business owners, a private vetted community for people who are looking to take their business to the next level and achieve time freedom? Meaning, isn't the whole point that we got into business ownership to be able to do what we want with our own time? Time and not have to check in with a boss to take time off. Well, after a few years in business, it can feel like you do have a boss because it's almost impossible to break away from this business that you started or grew for the whole purpose of providing for your family and giving yourself freedom. But it almost feels like you have a job rather than a business. Well, Crane was created by myself and my co-founder Wolfgang Kroski, who also owns a property management business, to help property management business owners take back that freedom of time. And so if you want to be around hundreds of other property managers who are all striving for that same goal, freedom of time, you may want to look at Crane. You need 150 doors minimum to apply, and we only open up for new members twice a year. That's why I wanted to bring this to your attention, because that window for new members is opening very soon. It will be open for about 2 weeks, and then we're going to close the window again until spring of 2027. I also want to mention that in the spring of 2026, when we last opened for new members, we brought in over 100 new members at that time. However, we are careful about making sure our community doesn't grow too quickly because we want to maintain a high level of conversation and connection between members. And so for the fall application window, which opens soon, we're only accepting 60 new members maximum. And so this is going to be kind of a first-come, first-served basis. There is an application process. Crane is for anybody who owns a property management business managing single-family rentals and small multifamily rentals that they don't own, meaning you're a third-party property manager. So if you're a member of NARPM, that's likely you, or if you own or manage a business with 150 or more units, of single-family rentals and small multifamily, we'd love to hear from you. So check out the application. You can go to joincrane.co to get on the waitlist if applications aren't open yet. Those who are on the waitlist are going to get early access to the application. You're going to get that application link about 1 day before it goes live to the general public. So if you want to learn more about Crane and why we have hundreds of happy members inside the community, what it's all about, what some of the benefits about membership are— haven't even gotten time to tell you about those benefits— check out joincrane.co and I'd love to see your application.
